I’m sometimes surprised to see/hear video news coverage of reporters referring to people by their ethnicity.

Yes, it isn’t nice to imply that all gypsies are thieves and cheats, but all cultures are not equal. Regardless of how much a group may have been maligned and materially disadvantaged in their history, if it is part of their culture to use that as an excuse to turn a blind eye to someone thieving just because they identify the thief as one of their cultural/ethnic origin, that is a degenerate culture.
Not defending Ezra’s apology but remember Sun is bucking for a Class A broadcast license
and there’s a lot of opposition to it. Perhaps his original broadcast ticked off a few of the powers that be and he’s doing the “discretion is the better part of valor” bit.
While many take issue with Ezra apologizing — with good reason BTW — I am prepared to let it slide for the simple reason that the game is rigged in favour of our, and the country’s, enemies. The apology may well be the only thing that could have been done to negate this attack. In the face of such a complex, multifaceted, deeply entrenched and powerful opposition we will likely often be forced into tactical retreats now and then. Remember, we are fighting to win the war, not just one battle. Besides, Ezra himself admits that his choice of wording was over the top, and it was. That he has chosen to take this action has already forced his, and our, enemies into confusion and disarray. I don’t think they expected it to happen and they are now busy attacking the apology rather than Ezra, which is a good thing.
Have no fear Ezra. Many of us can still see the forest for the trees.

The first story concerning Roma/Travellers preying on elderly people with crooked home repair scams, gives the lie to the second item, in which a Roma advocate says they ARE refugees from Countries like Hungary where they’re treated like pariahs, for no good reason.
We owe nothing to any person who wants to move here,and if an honest person who intends to respect our laws and work hard wants to immigrate to Canada, he/she’s more than welcome.
BUT we don’t want the criminal fringe of any Country immigrating here in droves,and the Roma have yet to demonstrate their willingness to behave like the average immigrant.

We shouldn’t be too hard on the Roma, after all, we’ve been ruled by similar people for most of the past century. This is why, in my humble opinion, the Roma get sympathy from elitists in Canada, they recognize a similar operation.
The gypsies are scurrying out of Hungary because Hungary finally has a government willing to do something of substance about gypsy crime, on top of other accomplishments. Among these are efforts to purge the Hungarian media of communists and yield the floor to people willing to expose not only the gypsies but of Hungary’s own class of Bernie Farbers, most of whom are unrepentant communists themselves.
The Hungarian constitution, in between recognizing traditional marriage, the rights of the unborn and the responsibility of the communists for their crimes against the nation (as such unique in Europe), also prevents unreprentant communists on their Constitutional Court from simply making up laws and throwing out the laws passed by Parliament to suit their communist and foreign bankster friends. Their Constitutional Court cannot simply silence somebody for speaking the truth. The result is the only media in Europe truly free of communist censorship and free to expose communist and gypsy crime, which it does with relush. What Ezra Levant was forced to apologize for by the cowards at Quebecor was a dirty love letter to the gypsies compared to what you’ll hear at any Romanian or Hungarian supper table, much less any Hungarian television channel.
In all fairness probably all ethnic groups have a criminal element but talk to seasoned police officers and ask them about organized shoplifting and begging scams and “gypsies” will dominate the conversation.

CTV Calgary had a news item about 2 yrs ago on a family of gypsies who were scamming shops and people. Can’t find the clip. Police stopped them and it was caught on video. One lady faked a pregnancy problem and caused a diversion. One or two ran away. Was a rodeo..can’t recall the outcome.
My grandmother’s mother (England) was a (Roma) gypsy and became a successful and “wealthy” business woman. Humm … I wonder why? ☺
