In the aftermath of President Obama’s now-obvious-to-all sequester overreach-in which he first predicted the end of the world as we know it, then backed away from those claims once the cuts went into effect, then attempted to inflict maximum pain on the American people, and is now blaming the Secret Service for the stupid and unnecessary decision to shut down White House tours-something is changing.

I would think his dog would be trusted more to deal with the economy than him.

Remember Japan went down this path 20 years ago and they are just now starting to feel it. Obama can spend 6 more Trillion in the next four years and leave before it falls apart. The US does not like his policies but they like him. He will never be remembered for his incompetence, just that it all was someone elses fault.
The problem is, Capt_Bob, that the American people don’t understand how taking spending out of the economy is going to increase jobs and the economy as a whole, and Republicans don’t explain it any better than “Leave the money in the hands of the people who will invest it”.
They actually believe BHO when he says he’s “Investing” the money in education, health care, pensions. Republicans have to cut through the lefty politically correct jargon and call a spade a spade… that he’s SPENDING on those things and that even though spending has been increased, they aren’t getting a good return on their “investment”.
