  1. What’s amazing is that a judge I assume granted the warrent.
About the police… what Ice Cube said.

  2. So, Lefties. You’ve managed to turn a free country into a police state. Way to go.
It says in the article that Driscoll is lucky they didn’t break his door down. I’d say he’s lucky they didn’t break it down at 3am and shoot him in his underwear. That’s been known to happen in England, I recall a case where they kicked in a guy’s door and shot him in his own bedroom, stark naked. Not just unarmed, but unclothed too. Itchy trigger fingers on cops these days.
Moral of the story? Get off Facebook, before the Authorities see something they don’t like in the background of a cat picture.
As for Mr. Thompson, he should be looking seriously at a multi-zillion dollar lawsuit against the province for wrongful prosecution and willful stupidity. I’d very much like to see the pictures and names of every cretin involved in that case plastered on billboards all over Ontario. I’d also like to see them fined for their efforts.

  3. I have spoken with Mr. Thompson and the obvious political direction of the crown has been confirmed. He was to be an example. Thankfully the Judge was not that impressed with the whole situation.
Ian has had his firearms returned to him.
Its probably a good thing, as one of the firebombers had a conviction of a home invasion with a machete against a handicapped person. Since the crown didn’t see fit to charge this person with any serious offense he should be getting out of jail rather soon.

  4. Back to The Phantom for a sec. Initially, I thought a mutli-zillion dollar lawsuit against the province would be just, but yet another example of the taxpayer being on the hook for the ineptitude of government and the legal system. I then switched back to the pursuit of justice and decided that I would rather see my tax dollars go to Mr. Thomson in an effort to give the socialist lawmakers and lawkeepers a good slap upside the head. It certainly beats ‘investing’ in more windmills.
