Starts on Granville where City Centre Canada Line Stn. is today. @1:18 turn onto W.Hastings and head east past Carrall. @3:21 now heading south on Carrall + turn right onto Cordova heading west. @4:18 turn left and go south on Cambie to Hastings. @4:32 skip to heading west on Robson around Burrard. @4:43 mark see “The Manhattan” Apts. under construction at Robson and Thurlow + continue along Robson to Broughton. @5:13 now on Davie past Bidwell heading east. Ride ends on Davie around Bute.

  6. Not much of a tip really, more of a boast and a reminder. I sent my letter to the CRTC today, asking that Sun News be given equal treatment in broadcasting. First time I have written a letter in years but I was very motivated. Every letter the CRTC receive carries the weight of hundreds of emails, so if you haven’t yet done so, please do. You can bet the left and it’s fellow travellers in media will be sending thousands of emails but I’d like to think we can beat them at what used to be their game. Sun News needs this application to go through and they need our help to do it. If they manage to kill the Sun we will never see another like it.

  7. Robert, the only thing recognizable to me was that building (I forget its name) at the very north end of Granville that you go through to get to the Seabus — still looks roughly the same.

    The TV landscape without Sun News would be dismal indeed. Time to write the CRTC.

    Recently, MP Devinder Shory, CPC MP for Calgary Northeast, introduced Private Members Bill C-425, Strengthening the Value of Canadian Citizenship, that would restore to the Citizenship Act powers to effectively revoke citizenship from Canadian dual citizens who go abroad and commit an act of war against Canada. Bill C-425 would also allow permanent residents who have signed a minimum three-year contract with the Canadian Forces to gain citizenship one year earlier than normal.

    The Government is considering expanding this bill to include automatically stripping Canadian citizenship from dual citizens convicted of committing terrorist acts. It is our belief that anyone who commits a terrorist act in Canada or abroad has clearly renounced their Canadian citizenship by rejecting Canadian values and the loyalty to our country that citizenship requires. Most Western democracies, including Australia and the United Kingdom, already have the authority to revoke citizenship from terrorists.
    I would value your feedback on this proposal.

  14. The Vancouver clip is interesting in that it shows Vancouver pedestrians haven’t improved in 106 years and that traffic was on the left side of the road British style. The changeover must have been fun!

    It’s…pretty clear that the media and left have fueled his madness. His writing reads like a regurgitation of media narratives he could pick up on any mainstream leftist web site or media outlet. The same media are now censoring his manifesto. This comes just a day after news broke that another leftist gunman used leftwing propaganda to launch an armed attack on the conservative Family Research Council. Most media have ignored that angle, too.
    A couple of days before that, a mass killer confessed to being taught to hate white people in college. That hasn’t become a media narrative, either.
    If there’s no Tea Party angle and the media can’t make one up, they’re just not interested in reporting all of the facts.
    Update: (Los Angeles-based nationally-distributed superstation) KTLA posted most, but not all, of Dorner’s manifesto. They left out all the parts in which he espouses leftist and anti-gun views.
