Oh, Frack!

Some of us in Texas believe the governor should outlaw fracking in New York. It is a nasty business. In fact, maybe he should outlaw any kind of drilling. It is all dangerous. And we might not mind if every state except Texas outlawed fracking.

Outlaw fracking, drilling, hell, anything that provides sustenance and prosperity. Let's all be reduced to an eighteenth century way of life. we all remember how great those days were, right?

Brilliant indeed. One of my wife' relatives lives in Cooperstown NY and regales us annually with his anti-fracking activities. May he succeed!

Indeed, from a Canadian perspective, it would be a good idea if fracking were completely stopped. Frackin' the Bakken is already providing serious competition to
the Canadian Oil Sands. Stopped, that is, until there is a market for Canadian-fracked petroleum.
