Rita Royale

Saskatchewan author (and long time SDA reader and advertiser) Terry Anderson has run into a rough spot, health wise. If you have a spot on your bookshelf that’s itching for a new novel, you might check out his work. The price is certainly right.
Merry Christmas, Terry – and to all our loyal readers who are facing challenges this season.

  1. Author’s note:
“The character, Rita Royale, is loosely based on the mannerisms and physical appearance of an American woman I knew while living in Victoria and while still in my twenties. A friend. A few years older than myself. A beautiful green eyed California blonde who always turned heads whenever she entered a room. A woman who, to this day, I still think of as a true Libertine, though not in the dissolute way the word is often framed. Perhaps free spirit is a better choice of words. Maybe a combination of both. A woman who had a real effect on my life.”
Shucks. I thought it was based on me. 🙂
    All the best, Terry.

  2. A month ago, I would have laughed at the plot.
However, this week Liberal leadership hopeful and Crown Prince, Justin Trudeau is a guest speaker at a Muslim conference, one which has Islamist affiliation, according to the moderate Muslims(Tarek Fatah) and also, security experts including David Harris.
Also, this week the Supreme Court of Canada in a ruling on wearing the Muslim veil in court, described the practice as a religious Right under the Charter. The Sharia Law beach head has arrived, the first inch has been taken.

  3. Sounds good, sounds like a keeper, talk about topical! Could it start a revolution,we could really use one? I thought myself lucky for never having to experience war in my lifetime; now I’m not so sure – if it would bring change!

  4. I Loved reading Rita Royale – Ive been to so many of the places in the story it brought it to life for me.
Best wishes and Merry Christmas Terry
