  1. Had to quit at #15.Checked some of his links. The Yanks are SOOOOOOOOO far down the rabbit hole, the average Joe Six-Pack cannot even imagine such numbers. Unfortunately,it is the clowns with Oblamblam phones that vote, not Joe Six-Pack. The revolution is coming, and it will not be a pretty pixie-dust,unicorn farts event.

  2. I was hoping that 100 Million + is an exaggeration. Perhaps the age span of America’s “working age people” has been expanded somewhat, like between 16 and 70. Still, it’s a very imposing statistic, and indicates there are too many people on the public dole for the social safety net to adequately support. With such a high ratio of idle to active within the U.S. population eligible for the workforce, this paints a dire portrait of economic anemia.

  3. Blah blah blah blah blah blah – what an idiot. For a man with real intelligence and knowledge, see Aaron Clarey, who points out that the problem not only is economic collapse but general societal collapse, including collapse at a very personal level. He does economic analyses from time to time, but always ends with the same advice: “enjoy the decline.”
It might be interesting to see a projection of how the collapse will occur, and how the improvement in US domestic energy supply (despite the Left’s most dedicated efforts) will affect that.
For the rest, just a waste of electrons.

  4. That probably explains why half the population voted for the Democrats. Government is supporting them and the alternatives are frightening. Or maybe they are too stupid and uneducated to see that the gravy train has already derailed and all we’re waiting for is the big fire. Either way, the band plays on while the economic Titanic is sinking.

  5. Remember the big media dustup during the election, when Romney said 47% of Americans were lost to his party? The propoganda arm of the DNC, also known as the mainstream media, were all attacking him for his supposed failure to represent all Americans.
Apparently, Obama can write off whole states, sectors of the econommy, all the God-fearing, and his political opponents – and still represent all the Americans that matter: those that sell him their votes.

  6. Does anyone else think that perhaps Barry is purposely trying to destroy the U.S. economy, so that he can bring about a full-on takeover of this once great nation?

  7. This is exactly what the Obama administration wants. The more people that are dependent on the government, the easier it it to control them. He has no intention of avoiding the fiscal cliff, in fact he’s looking forward to it.

  8. I doubt Obama is smart enough to see where he’s leading the country. He has surrounded himself with dimwits that see life as he does and they all feed off each other. The light emitting from his narcissistic halo blinds him to anything negative. When it all comes crashing down (and it will) he will blame everyone but himself. He is certainly not a student of history because he sees no danger in his destructive policies. He is simply a product of affirmative action whose career never got beyond voting “present” as senator and being a community activist. In other words, sucking on the public teat for decades. This arrogance shows in his “you didn’t build it” attitude. He does the the one quality all politicians cherish and that is the gift of gab. His true calling but for affirmative action would probably been used car salesman in Chicago.

  9. What peterj said to the nth degree. I can’t for the life of me see how this putz was re-elected, he’s beyond the pale.
The US will never recover as a whole republic, what Lincoln did will be reversed, brother against brother, it’s sad and
unwarranted, insane is the only way to describe it. Insane. Utterly insane.

  10. Frank, buddy, go visit Zerohedge. This is a common theme there – that’s it all being done for a complete government takeover. Most of the time I doubt it, but there are times…
Kate, I hope the captcha keeps the phils and boobooisie away..

  11. Thanks KevinB I hope you’re right and Barry O is not another Chavez.
    Checked out Zerohedge. Interesting.

  12. It’s the same sort of math that baffles liberals and leftards when it comes to taxes.
They cannot and will not understand that there is more going on than what they are told by their trusted media. Further, the concept of cumulative effects is beyond their ken.

  13. If people truly cared about the economy, Obama would have been driven out of Washington with pitchforks and torches ages ago. As he bribed his way back into the White House, it’s safe to say that most people either don’t know or care how utterly screwed they are. When the welfare cheques dry up (and they will) THEN it will matter that the Liar-in-Chief goes on four million dollar holidays.

  14. Statists believe government creates net jobs because they believe government is more efficient than the private sector at generating economic growth. This is the problem. Despite being completely ass-backwards wrong over and over again, they cling to their belief.
Why? Because it’s in their interest to believe so. There “solution” is invariably some mix of cronyism with their buddies (thank God not the evil capitalists though), some government program or most certainly more and more spending, taxation and debt.
Example: when someone explains true gun control involves massive resources to confiscate virtually all weapons, the statist sees an opportunity – more bureaucratic jobs.
And on and on it goes, until a Thatcher or Reagan arrive; or something worse, like a demographic change induced depression.

  15. The stagnation will become even worse. Big business, and the wealthy, will now hoard their funds, and strategically invest and protect their wealth, rather than aid and abet the Narcissist-in-Chief. It has already started, but it will get very ugly if there is no deal regarding the cliff. Unemployment will skyrocket, and, in some ways, Canada could be a net benefactor. Thanks to the leftards running the US, Canada has become a very attractive place to setup shop for American companies (except Government Motors, but that’s just the crony capitalism of the Marxist administration). It could be very good times for Canada coming up.
And yeah. I think Oblamer WANTS to go over the cliff. He hates the military, and embraces reductions there. Classic leftists, as our own Dippers have hated the military for eons.
With the US further weakened, I go back and wonder about Oblamer’s promise to Putin……
