  1. You beat me to it, Dan. Good call.
Here’s a thought…..I expect that mass shootings may move away from schools and become more commonplace in areas such as hospitals and HMO’s, now that the US has hitched it’s wagon to “free health care”. Just wait an see how long it takes someone to snap after sitting on a waiting list for months on end.

  2. “In the future, he won’t be taking any more questions from Jake”.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Jake’s White House press pass is revoked entirely.
The false prophet doesn’t like being talked down to. He wants EVERY reporter to partake in the tongue bath.

  3. Ha.
All his handlers were silently chanting to themselves “Don’t say vacation, don’t say vacation, don’t say vacation, doOUH”

  4. Wow, that man has a thin skin!
ET is looking pretty solid in her characterization of Barry right about now. He didn’t like getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar, did he?
Eskimo said: “Here’s a thought…..I expect that mass shootings may move away from schools and become more commonplace in areas such as hospitals and HMO’s, now that the US has hitched it’s wagon to “free health care”.”
Never happen, Eskimo. Hospitals are not gun free zones. There are always cops hanging around the emergency room for one reason or another.
Mass shooters only go for soft targets.

  5. Watch that video – Tapper was nervous enough to be continually nodding approvingly at each pearl of wisdom emanating from the president’s lips.
I do give full credit for his blunt question. How many of those has Obama had to field, compared to just about any other American politician (especially the Republicans).
His question also points up the fact that much of what Obama says is at least as trite as the average high school valedictory speech.

  6. Did you notice also that Obama brought the Newtown tragedy into his insistence that the GOP accept his budget proposal. How dare he, how dare he. He said:
“If there’s one thing we should have after this week, it should be a sense of perspective about what’s important.I would like to think that members of that [Republican] caucus would say to themselves, ‘You know what? We disagree with the president on a whole bunch of things. But right now what the country needs is for us to compromise”.
How dare he invoke a tragedy that has nothing to do with economics to make others feel guilty if they don’t accept His proposal.
How dare he so sully those children by politicizing their deaths for himself.
Remember, he did the same with the Sandy hurricane; he showed up in his bomber jacket, posed for pictures, promised all kinds of help, and left. Delivered Nothing. Nothing. Oh, but he used it to portrary Himself as a Man Who Cares.
And Obama continues with his narcissism with this attempt to use the massacre of children to force the GOP to surrender to his terms. Krauthammer called it a sacrilege, this display of self-righteousness and narcissism.
And as others have noted, Obama didn’t mention his over 100 games of golf. Nor did he mention that his actions so far about the economy, about Al Qaeda etc, have all, all of them, been monumental failures. So much for his, ah, ‘hard work’. Isn’t he leaving today for yet another vacation?
And the fiscal cliff continues; and a marine languishes in a Mexican prison; and Sandy survivors remain without homes; and Benghazi remains a huge disastrous coverup. And Al Qaeda is stronger than ever. But Obama lectures you for asking questions about any of them.

  7. Wrong question. Jake appears to think, and Obama obviously agrees (it’s just that he’s been “too busy”) that if only there were another law or six, and the full attention of His Supreme Benevolence Barack, mass murders would end.

  8. Speaking of journalists asking questions that the regal Mr President seems to find “upsetting”, I notice that Bill O’Reilly is asking questions regarding the USMC Corporal who has been rotting in a Mexican jail for no good reason since August. O’Reilly says the Commander-In-Chief apparently can’t be bothered to fret about one of his military underlings and O’Reilly is really starting to get ugly and has given fair warning to the Administration to have the Marine home with his family for Christmas ………. or else.
    This could get interesting.

  9. Forget about the press pass; Jake Tapper may have to worry about being personally revoked. Albeit Tapper levelled a degree of personal criticism that isn’t often sent Pres. Obama’s way. Well, other that what Michelle harangues him about.

  10. If barry really “cared” about the safty of kids I think we would see that reflected with concern for the countrys growing debt. The debt will destroy more lives than we can imagine…at some point in the future.

  13. “Where’ve you been?”
    Well victim shopping of course!
“ You can’t just screw the American people over with a few dead people here or there, you need to wait until the perfect moment comes when a mentally ill guy happens to have a gun (not a knife or a bomb, this is very important) and kills a bunch of little toddlers, preferably white toddlers……….This all takes time Wayne, allot of time and allot of timing” – BO

“If barry really “cared” about the safty of kids….’
That’s one thing to be sure.
I would also add………..he would stop dropping bombs on their homes in foreign countries, and he would stop arming radical Jihadist from taking over their countries. He most definitely wouldn’t have allowed Eric Holder to ship guns into Mexico for the drug cartels if he cared about kids – and he would also stop the flow of drugs from Mexico into American schools by closing the open border with Mexico.
Question: If Afghanistan produces 90% of the worlds Heroin, and the American Army occupies and controls Afghanistan, why is the availability of Heroin in the western world at an all time high?
Cause Obamba loves kids, that’s why.

  15. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/12/20/A-Real-Public-Opinion-Poll-8-000-People-A-Day-Join-NRA-Since-Dec-14
While the media seizes on the tragedy in Connecticut to tell us that Americans have now largely turned a corner and thrown away their love for 2nd Amendment freedoms, reality tells us something completely different.
The reality is that “8,000 new members” have the joined the National Rifle Association (NRA) every day since the terrible crime at Sandy Hook Elementary School was committed.
To be clear, NRA membership always grows in the days after any incident where gun rights are called into question. But reports indicate that these numbers — 8,000 a day — “dwarf past trends.”
Perhaps the aftermath of this incident is different because it’s one in which the public has a growing knowledge that gun bans, gun-free school zones, and restrictions on law-abiding citizens have only fueled crime by providing the mentally ill and criminally-minded with helpless, soft targets that they can strike at will?
The message 8,000 new NRA members a day is sending is clear: Enough is enough. Gun control is not the answer, law-abiding citizens owning and carrying guns for their own defense is.
    Cheers!

  16. It’s really scary that we’re all so grateful for one single journalist who’ll ask the President of the United States a half-way difficult, relevant question.

  17. Hans >
    “8-000-People-A-Day-Join-NRA-Since-Dec-14”
But Hans, this must be incorrect, SDA Troll TJ has been telling us for days that the NRA is all but finished over this recent “gun ban state” mass murder- go ahead just ask him.
Gun sales are also through the stratosphere this week, but I guess TJ figures that a hundred million Americans with ½ a billion guns will turn them in tomorrow if Obamba snaps his fingers and posts a proclamation on the gates of the WH.

  18. Meanwhile, in other news. Barack has been declared Time Magazine’s person of the year, beating out Sandra Fluke.

  19. Oddly enough not just firearms sales are goin’ nuts but sales of the dreaded bushmaster are the lead item.
Fear sells…..also armoured, bullet proof backpacks are a very popular item…
Note the bushmaster was not involved in the shootings but was found in the shooters car truck after the fact….a fact ignored by the talking heads as if the shooter used 2 handguns…

  20. Gotta be the quote of the day:”I don’t think I’ve been on vacation”.
And while we are at it, of all the other things he claims to have on his plate, none are any better than in 2008 and it is fair to say most are worse.

  21. “I don’t think I’ve been on vacation.”
True. The USA would be much better off if he had been.

  22. You’ve gotta admit that he’s looking far more comfortable and dictatorial these days.
Check out all the “I’m going to kill you one day” glares he now gives that never occurred before the last election.
No doubt sending serious thrills up Chris Mathews legs.

  23. Jarrett must giving the POTUS a beat down for not sticking with the teleproter script.
To spew the glaringly obvious state of his cranial matter must still have the “official” W/H reporters laughing so hard that they are spilling their martini’s at the local watering hole.

  24. You said you were president and haven’t been on vacation. You HAVE been on vacation, you and michelle and family, more than any president in the history of this country. You can’t even tell the truth about that either.
