"I Won"

RIP, Benghazi Four, RIP.

One senior GOP Senate staffer told The Cable that State is only making the documents available for senators and committee staff to view today and tomorrow, which won't actually allow the members to prepare for the hearing. Staffers for committee members are also not allowed to see the material.

"Funny since no member is in town," the aide said. "The timing and limited access clearly demonstrates the administration cares more about playing politics with the tragedy than accepting responsibility."

It was ever thus.
Why would anyone expect the WH to change its tactics?
Justice must be done in this case!
Hope there are some bull terriers who won't let go of this until the full story is known.

Expect executive privilege....

"Justice must be done in this case!"

The Benghazi debacle must be investigated thoroughly and the guilty must suffer the consequences of their actions ... or inactions. Perhaps now that the election is over, the media will smarten up and report responsibly on what took place. Hopefully the public will wonder why it wasn't done sooner.

Obama will definitely suffer for what happened but others within the administration must also be seriously taken to task for their silence. Hillary Clinton comes to mind. If there is any justice in the world, her political career should be left in tatters after the stuff hits the fan.

How do you spell TYRANNY?

Yep, the bodies start showing up, but HELL no it wasn't the Administration covering up.

These jackals are so lying, obfuscating and obstructionist...

This is as the "Obama-Nation(tm)" would say, a great big pile of "Bullsh*t".

The most 'transparently' lying Administration evah!

Cheers

Relatively few Americans have heard of Libya, let alone Benghazi, never mind the loss of Americans in a terrorist action. Half or more of those who do know have a vested interest in covering it up.

To many of us, it would seem the Republican Party should have had a vested interest in crying the news from the rooftops but - THEY DID NOT DO SO. Romney could have immediately and forcefully challenged Crowley at the debate - but he DID NOT DO SO.

Next time you happen to be reading T.S.Eliot, read the last few lines of "The Hollow Men".

I agree with Kakola. I've given up expecting justice for Fast 'n Furious and almost no one in America will even remember what happened in Benghazi much less learn the truth about what occurred.

The American spirit that I've learned to admire exists only in their history books... Apart from Ron Paul of course.

The ironic thing about Benghazi is that Obama is taking the flac but the real target should be Clinton. It is pretty obvious that Hilary is running for POTUS in 2016. I suspect that in exchange for Bill's campaigning for Obama he is sweeping this under the carpet as much as possible.

If anyone thinks Hillary is not prepared to sacrificed whomever to get to the Oval Office then they have a very poor memory. While Barry might do whatever he is told Hilary is the worst kind of snake.

I agree with you about the she-devil Hillary, ct.

Anybody that remembers Whitewater will recall the legion of bodies left in her wake in all the cover-ups!!

Maybe one of the GOP committee members can sneak out the report hidden in his socks and underwear? I believe there is a precedent for that set under the Clinton administration.

Iran has fired at a US drone. I hope they find out who insulted the Iranians quickly.

@James
Must be the maker of an ant-muslim film. Oh wait...he's already in jail.

:::FORWARD:::

Agree with ct. Hillary will steamroller anyone that gets in her way, and that includes Obama. It's the Clinton way. If this issue gets really hot, Hillary will be the first one to roll over on the President.
Her ambition along with her complete lack of morals and ethics will ensure that.

Abomination, Obama-nation, po-TAY-to, po-TAH-to...

"Perhaps now that the election is over, the media will smarten up and report responsibly on what took place. Hopefully the public will wonder why it wasn't done sooner."

Please, enough with wishful thinking and fairy tale beliefs at this blog.

Benghazi is gone and forgotten, and NO ONE in the MSM is going to sacrifice his standing in that community for a few soldiers. They were just another sacrifice for the "common good",that being the re-election of Obama.

There will be no impeachment, and if a few low level minions have to be sacrificed,so be it.But this is not the Watergate era,and there is no team Woodward & Bernstein.

And Obama ain't Nixon.

"The timing and limited access clearly demonstrates the administration cares more about playing politics with the tragedy than accepting responsibility."

Really. You don't say.

Incidentally its not a tragedy. Those brave men died in battle like GIANTS. Chosen by the Valkyrie. Two of them accounted for 60 enemy fighters. They died not because their kung fu fell short, but because they were BETRAYED by their own side. Tragedies are when sh1t happens to innocent people by accident.

In other news, that guy who made that video this all was blamed on got a year in jail yesterday. For "unrelated charges" of course.

Make a fuss Republicans. Make a ruckus. Kick over the traces and stonewall Barry like there's no tomorrow. Or shut up and just let it burn.

But don't cluck like a bunch of hens. That's so degrading.

So I haven't worken up from this nightmare yet?

That Iranian attack occurred on November 1st but the administration and Iran kept it quiet until after the election.

Phantom - nice comments.

Notice that the rioting and anger against 'the video' has totally died down in the ME. Why? If you are upset about that video, then, why stop so suddenly?

I do blame Obama; his election platform consisted of his claim that, with Bin Laden dead, then terrorism no longer exists. This is such a stupid remark that it's beyond comment.

As for Hillary, I think she went along with it, because otherwise, if she spoke out the truth, that the men were ignored and betrayed by the Obama WH, then..IF Obama lost the election, the Democrats would blame her. So, she went along with the game.

As for her, or rather, Bill's plans to re-enter the WH, by her as president, hmm. She'll be close to 70 in 2016. And the Democrats have not, unlike the GOP, permitted new young blood to move into the party. Obama, as a narcissist, can't handle such competition. So, I have my doubts about Hillary for 2016.

Good post,Phantom!

Damned good post!

Before the election a black woman,
enjoying a tankful of 1.87 gas,
was interviewed concerning what she thought about the 4 Americans dying in Benghazi.

She replied that we must all be willing to make sacrifices,
young men and women in the military make sacrifices,
and our president, who she thought was so wonderful and planned to vote for,
determines who will have to make those sacrifices.

So there you have it boys and girls.

The Ambassadors death was a sacrifice for our dear leader, not for America, not for our freedom,
but for our Magic El Negro.

We just need to get over it and prepare for our sacrifices.

Obamacare will not be a sacrifice,
I look at it as just a program to help thin out the baby boom herd.

I hope to see her lying/dieing on the table next to mine.

It's a shame but the Benghazi massacre is destined for the dust bin of history... dead men tell no tales. The Barry media not only don't care about the murdered Americans, they have completely forgotten about Benghazi entirely... like it didn't even happen, and if it did... so what. Disgraceful. Let the cover-up continue.

Benghazi won't die. It will be persued the same way Watergate was persued in the early 70's.
The Watergate break-in ocurred before Nixon was re-elected. In Fact George McGovern tried to use it as a campaign issue and nobody knew what the hell he was talking about. Nixon was re-elected in a landslide. That was in 1972. But Woodward and Bernstein stuck to the story for a long time before it gained traction. Nixon did not resign until 1974.
There are a few honest reporters left, and they won't let Benghazi die, and they'll get their information from a new 'Deep Throat' who will leak to them the documents they need.
And remember, there were no body bags involved in the Watergate scandal. Nevertheless about 40 people wound up in jail and Nixon was forced to resign or face impeachment.

Pursue not persue. My typing has not improved with age.

Ed, I fear you are sadly mistaken. Those two brave SEALs, who died as heroes, who in a sane world would be bestowed with Medals of Honor for their bravery, will be flushed down the memory hole. They will never be spoken of by the Obama administration nor the MSM again. They will be - have been - sacrificed upon the altar of Obama's ego. Perhaps some medium-level staffer in State will take the fall, perhaps Obama will finally plunge the knife into Hillary's back. It matters not. Obama himself has escaped all blame, and Americans will never know the truth of what happened that dark night in Libya.

"We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on Earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness." - Ronald Reagan, whom I fear is shedding tears of despair for what has become of his beloved country. The steps into darkness have truly begun now.

I don't think Benghazi will die.
Obama et al will do anything to keep it quiet, but there are too many people who don't intend to.

From what I've read about him, the ambassador went to Berkeley, first went overseas in the Peace Corps, loved the area and cared for the people, and idolized Hillary.

Maybe he has forgiven her for not answering his requests for protection. But no one else should.
Was she watching it unfold?

Actually it's interesting that you mention Woodward because last night on Hanity he was implying that he is investigating Benghazi and that it will take time. Of course he also claimed there is no bias in the media with a straight face so who knows.

No one is in town?
Whatever, if they are still coming back after the election, there will still be someone who can examine the docs and react.
I want the truth to come out about Benghazi, no matter what the administration wants.
I am not an American and am still concerned, some senator or congressman will make sure they see the docs and can do something about them if they are really worth looking at.

Obama: 'TRUST MATTERS'

no conscience...

Shouldn't that heading be "We Stole" as in we (Democrats) stole the election through voting machine manipulation. Oh look the Republican vote wasn't count ....er....the Republicans forgot to show up to vote. Yeah yeah that's the story we'll run with.

information on huma abedin, top aide to hillary clinton in state department. alleging proven ties to Muslim Brotherhood. Hillary may not have gotten the memo/cable from Ambassador Stevens three weeks prior to the attack...but huma must have and misplaced it, maybe. be sure to view the video on that site with cleric declaring the caliphate will establish its capital in Jerusalem. Morsi's in the audience nodding approvingly.
