The phrase, "leading climate scientists" is almost an oxymoron. Climate scientists are a dull breed,
not competitive with e.g. particle physicists or even molecular physicists.
Even some we like, such as Roger Pielke, would rate as competent but not beyond that.
The only brilliant person who has discussed climate is Freeman Dyson.
