Conservatives defy UN gun controls
Opponents argue the United Nations protocol signed by a previous Liberal government would drive up the cost of guns by as much as $200 apiece, killing jobs and creating more red tape in an already overregulated industry.
Proponents argue ignoring the framework is a step backwards to trace traffickers of guns to civil wars and Third World conflicts - some of which end up in the hands of local criminals.
The protocol - on hold until December 2013 - would require all imported guns to be marked with the name of the country and year of import. It's at least the fourth time the government has punted the regulation since taking office in 2006.
Or, we could just punt the UN and be done with it.
Guns already bear markings that include country of origin, year of manufacture, and serial number. Where's the need for additional markings?
There is no need for more markings. The anti-gun idiots just want to harass and pester firearms owners. If they can eventually make guns too expensive by way of unnecessary rules and overregulation they think they can keep guns out of the hands of common people.

The anti- gun lobby and their political prostitutes have already cost Canadians hundreds if not thousands of jobs in the firearms and related components industry.
Instead of well-made C-I-L products,for instance,we have to buy U.S.products, or cheap Eastern European made ammo,and reloading products.Anyone here ever tried the Bosnian made ammo?
In the last few years,reloading products have been hard to obtain,and gun shop retailers tell me that often powder,bullets,primers,and even brass are deleted from their orders.
As a reloader in Canada,you learn to stock up,or do without.

So like i said above ...I hope Obama wins and shoves America off the fiscal cliff and triggers some sort of big old party like the American civil war ..except it is the world over ...and every one gets invited ...I would rather die fighting for my little piece of earth than defending a bunch of weak limp wristed cowards. There’s no need to trace, Obamba sells them to Mexican drug cartels (Fast & Furious) and North African “rebels” like the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda. They in turn overthrow governments like Libya, steal the Libyan armories and then use them on people in places like Mali.
Very simple, no need to harass us over it, go talk to Obamba and tell him to stop.

I divide countries into three groups: those in which gun ownership is illegal (except for the rich, who have land to shoot over) - these include the Netherlands and France; those where it is obligatory - these include Denmark and Switzerland; and those in between (us, the US).
I still remember visiting the Oersted Institute in Copenhagen and being introduced to a very shaggy and mildy odorous graduate student, of hippy persuasion. "What would you say if we told you that he has a heavy machine gun in his closet at home - with ammunition?" I made gasping noises. "He's got a heavy machine gun at home in his closet."
He'd been trained in the weapon during his compulsory military service, and then was liable for call-up for a number of years afterwards.

But I am at my wits end with this ,so I say lets do it!! Light this mofo up. I am not a libertarian ,but I am at a point in my life where I have been let down by so many people , I have been sold out by my govornments , I refuse to sacrifice my life for a coward. A good man I will die for . But in this country we have been soon blessed and so spoiled we have turned away from the one who has given it to us . This country has been soo good to so many millions of people and it is the millions of people that have made this country so good and slowly over the last 6 decades it has been chopped away at not by communism, or socialism,or Marxism, or fascism, or any of that those or just names for evil ,and reasons for evil to evil.
These next 10-20 years on this earth will be crucial if the good people on earth remain in the majority!!
Pretty big event on Tuesday it will send a very clear sign to the entire world as to witch direction this earth will be headed either brighter days ahead and a lot of work or a return to the dark ages of suffering corruption greed ,slavery,poverty,blood shed, war,death and destruction. Sounds crazy ..actually sounds a lot like the Middle East right now ..but ask yourself do you want this in your country?. It's time for good men to stand up speak up and fight if necessary to protect the thousands of years of Judeo Christian values enshrined in our great western republics and democracies. Actually, this UN directive is really silly and if we had a functional press/media that reported facts instead of political platforms, this would be apparent.
Essentially this is about the UN mandating its own serial number engraving system on sporting arms imported into Canada. This is of course ridiculous as all legal sporting arms already have serial numbers stamped on them from their manufacturers which are recorded by customs - making the whole UN mandated exersise redundant and a wsate of time - but you can bet the sweat off your husky's scrote, that is not how the red media will spin it.

Yup, there are good people and there are bad people regardless of what their religious or political beliefs are.
We do thrive as a society mostly in part by our historical Judaic Christian values, but not entirely. There are European cultural and environmental predispositions that transcend religion which has also developed our superlative socioeconomic drive as well.
I wholeheartedly agree, certain religious and political ideologies along with cultural practices are indeed “evil” and others “good”, this cannot be denied. It is the “good” that the sane defend and “evil” that we fight on every front if we are to survive as free and independent people.
That said, I do reject the notion that “.......Romney is not our saviour”. We don’t need a savior, we need an American President who holds true to the values of the American Constitution and defends it as a sacred text. If he works to restore free market values, returns to a gold or similar equitable standard, secures the borders, educates the young with capitalist ideals along with core curriculums in math, science and honest history, everything else falls into place. If he does the job he was hired to do correctly that is – hopefully we will see.

Guilting honest citizens into surrendering guns might work for a while but sooner or later get wise to the emotional blackmail.
