Take Me, Obama

Heh.

Mr Axelrod, speaking on a campaign conference call, made an appeal to reporters to make the points that Obama himself had failed to make in the debate.

Axelrod is used to working for losers. McGuinty hired him in 2002. The consummate snake oil salesman. Look at the esteemed client base.
In 1985, Axelrod formed a political consultancy company, Axelrod & Associates. In 1987 he worked on the successful reelection campaign of Harold Washington, Chicago's first black mayor, while also helping to spearhead Simon's campaign for the 1988 Democratic Presidential nomination. This established his first experience in working with black politicians and he later became a key player in similar mayoral campaigns of blacks, including Dennis Archer in Detroit, Michael R. White in Cleveland, Anthony A. Williams in Washington, D.C., Lee P. Brown in Houston, and John F. Street in Philadelphia.[7] Axelrod is a longtime strategist for the former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley[11] and styles himself a "specialist in urban politics." The Economist notes he also specializes in "packaging black candidates for white voters".[11]
Wikipedia, which is good for some things. Seems to me he's not doing too good a job of packaging this black President for white voters. Nauseating to think that these are the type of people that control the puppet strings of politicians.

If you'd like a sober assessment of Wednesday night's debate, listen to this, the first hour of John Batchelor's Thursday evening show.

What we all witnessed was the true "Game Changer" that HBO will never do a series about.

the BOY couldn't find the CHAIR, so it sat empty

It's over for Obama. The kitchen lights just came on for millions of ABC,NBC,CBS,NYT,CNN watching zombies and they have just witnessed their made up prince turn into the cockroach he truly is...A manufactured narcissistic oppertunist who just wanted to spend time in the limelight...As a pop star; not a President.
2008-2012 will live on as the most embarrassing ever for the American Republic.

As the comments in that linked article will attest, the most frightening part is that many still maintain that it was just a glitch, a miscalculation from Obama and his handlers and that he will come out swinging and will cream Romney next time. Poor fools.

Yes they will try to prep him for the nest debates and he might do slightly better at articulating words per minute next time; he will still fumble and start sounding incoherent...Romney will still dominate. An audio device cannot debate. Period.

Barry is nothing but an audio device...Without a prerecorded source to insert into, he is mute. Unscripted, he reverts to talking about things that ultimately is about him or affects him because it's nothing but about oneself in the strange world of a narcissist.

If polls start falling and the MSM and the celebrity world stop worshipping their messiah, the naked Obama might try to pull out of the remaining debates with some lame excuse and/or even try to have Bill Clinton do it for him...He is very capable as he once walked off stage in front of the American public to let Clinton finish talking about an economic plan to the press corp.

I personnally believe Obama wants out now...He knew his days were numbered with these coming unscripted, unfiltered by MSM debates with very high viewership.

They already bought a house in Hawaii. The TV circuit is his last TV appearances as the popular rock star Prez and they will all be recorded in HD for his private DVD collection.

"But overall, we had a good time, did'nt we Michelle?"

I usually try to avoid Charles Blow, but I enjoyed this one. I gathered his main worry was that people are really stupid and they might think Romney won...

What struck me is how Obama was thrown off right from the start of this debate by the lack of unquestioning adoration from a fawning audience - no wild applause to his every meaningless, unfocused platitudes: no shared derisive laughter, no "whoop-whoops", no "uh huhs - that's right".

Watch it again, at least the beginning and see his instinctive pauses and his surprise and unease about this continued lack of sycophantic audience response. All that was left ringing in his ears was the echo of his own empty rhetoric.

Obama is bright?

I would say that Obama was in a DEAD FISH debate. He was the Dead Fish without any response to Mitt’s debate points. He was not prepared to go to another level because he has zero self Knowledge of economics. Everything about him has been a Teleprompter bullet from a Communist think tank.

Today the Employment rate has been reported to be below 8%. I blame the Republicans for failing to question the methodology (those that quit looking are not counted) that has been used for at least a year. It was predictable that they would fake the numbers and Republicans are like dead Toad road kills. Stuck on Stupid

If body language means anything then I was struke by Obama's 'jock walk' coming onto and off the stage. I mean how do you take someone seriously who looks like he is walking across a basketball court?

O was in a Presidential debate. But he thought it was the same as rousing the troops in a union hall.

Totally inappropriate and it looked that way. Course he is way out of his depth without a teleprompter, as the country knows.

ct - you're missing the subtext. O's strut is his way of reminding folks that he's [part] Black. It's all he's got left.

Yes I also noticed Axelrod urging journalists to do the fact-checking, pronto...

CNN has been in full swing, explaining what Obamba really meant to say!

Apparently Romney lied, lied lied about everything, it turns out the economy is better than it's ever been, employment numbers are "really" below 8%, and manufacturing is rebounding.

No really.

John Batchelor's first hour last night was glorious. I was listening then Robert, thoroughly enjoying my beer in hand.

I loved that Taiwanese animated clip. Watching Obama being punched out was beautiful. Obviously a lot of people want that to happen.

But let us never forget - a lot of Americans, male and female, still want sex with Obama. You might call it the "gonad vote."

The gonad vote plus the dependency vote (overlapping to some extent): that will be hard to beat.

From the same Ed Driscoll piece:

Oh well, at least there are more debates. The last one, on Oct. 22, is on foreign policy, which is Obama’s strong suit. Then the handsome prince killed Osama bin Laden, and the ambassador lived happily ever after.

The liberals amongst my work colleagues said "I didn't really watch it", but they clearly did as they knew what I was speaking of. Another retort "It wasn't important/was boring/never matters"

This grown man had four years to make his points. What point did he make on Wednesday? That he stinks.

Axelrod orders Obamas allies to go to war for him.

Foreign policy is Ohbummer's strong suit? Who knew?
