We Don't Need No Stinking Giant Fans

The beauty of rural Scotland has been destroyed ... by 'marching white monsters'.

Environmentalists' response? One word: Yawn.

Scotland is (was) pretty. I guess I was lucky to see pre-windmill Scotland. Of course, if I hadn't had my camera stolen in Scotland then I'd actually have pictures of Great Britain to look at to compare to my memory. Not that I hold a grudge or anything.

Windmills have no redeeming value -ugly, useless and expensive. I read that the England (and presumably the rest of GB) is still facing a short timeline before power shortages are inevitable. Billions spent and billions wasted. That's government on enviro-crack.

The Scots voted for socialists even further left than the government as a whole, they should reap it and like it.

They will be rusted-out hulks within twenty years. Another 25 and the Scottish landscape will be restored to more feral vistas.

Scotland was a beautiful, smart, and great country, until someone let the leftards in.To think that in 1988,the little town of Forres, east end of Loch Ness, had the recognition of the most scenic town in the British Isles. Now the local garbage dump looks better(and serves a better purpose) then these "white monsters".

Yeah, California's Altamount Pass is a veritable scrap yard of the first bird blenders....abandoned and rusting....

It will probably take about a century for Gaia to remove these eyesoresby means of corrosion snd wind.

Eye pollution is what they are.

Rusting white poles after they become too expensive to fix and the blades fall off, then will come the lawsuits, arguments and expenses for their removal that will take decades.

Ladies and gentlemen, a reminder of Scotland's late natural beauty in Gerard Manley Hopkins', "Inversnaid":

Someday I wanted to visit my Scottish homeland and soak up the beauty.

Now I can visit Altamount Pass in California.

All the Scots I know in Canada are lefties, so I'm not surprised they voted in lefties in Scotland.

Where is Don Quixote when we need him?

They ARE giants!

He's talking about windmills? I thought "marching white monsters" was a reference to the BNP.
