About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

This is broken.
Linky no worky.
Maybe that's the point? This could be artistic.
Hey Black Mamba
Come on give a simple tyke a break, artistic ?
Like "links don't work, so I'll switch back to Ethernet while Kate's away".
Or something. I don't know what Ethernet is.
Maybe Kate went back to dial-up,and lance is still waiting for the post to load???
It could be...
It's a test of how stoned you are; the greater the number of times you click on the self-referential link before noticing, the better the quality of the weed.
I think this is the story lance intended to link.
It's about Wi-Fi causing headaches in schools.
Come on Black Mamba
"I don't know what ethernet is"
Yeah right , this one has bells on it.....
We seem to have a loop.
Must be because the signal passed out of the ether and got reflected off the Heaviside Layer.
I'm drinking Bacardi's at the moment, and clicked on the link twice before figuring out it don't work!
Which shows the evils of alcohol,I call for a ban on the product, after I finish this bottle.
Wi-fi causes headaches. Okay. Another "theory",half-researched,half-proven, but put out there to keep the public in a state of fear?
I think he meant token-ring.
Loki,
three times.
Oh, well.
Just check out the preview page where much of the material that's on here first appears.

Ethernet LOL
Are they going to block/ban cellular and TV signals too? Because they can be found in same UHF band that WiFi occupies as well.
Perhaps they should just issue tinfoil beanies instead.
Oh, the "radio is dangerous!" crap. Marconi had to put up with this when he invented it, you'd think doctors would have got the message by now. Even hacks like this lot.
I ran my mouse over the link and I wondered why someone was playing a joke on little me!
Real headaches now in Detroit. Nothing like the smell of Napalm in the morning. Apocalipse now.

DSV @6:20 - look, I don't usually get these Star Trek references, okay?
Better a WiFi headache than a Lamestream Media exploding head.
Wi-fi has a weaker signal than your cellphone. But that cellphone blasting all day in your hands or against your head. Why do I never see a mention of cellphones anyway?
An entire town in France has no wireless in it's schools due to the controversy.
The problem isn't a single wireless device. The problem is that the number of wireless devices are increasing exponentially.
A wireless tester went to some schools to measure the signals to see if they fell within Canada's code 6 guidelines. Turns out that more than a few of the schools had readings that were 10x the limit (there is a Canadian made documentary on this topic)..
It is true that there are some people who are highly sensitive to radio frequencies, albeit their numbers are relatively small.
There's a big debate about smart meter's-some claiming health effects-others are uncomfortable with all these utilities reading the meters every 14 seconds 24/7/365 and are asking why they are being read so often.
Others are concerned about Agenda 21 that mandates all meters are to be replaced with smart meters, and that it is reputed that utility companies can turn off or limit your services and that of the entire neighborhood you live in for redistribution purposes using wireless technology. Some homes on the grid are designated hubs for the neighborhood-these homes EMF readings are incredibly high. It's been stated that Agenda 21 also calls for appliance replacement to energy efficient appliances that have chips that can be read by smart meters.
Then there are those who are concerned about privacy and the releasing of information from wireless devices to third parties, and then there are the property rights issues.
I don't know who to believe at this point, some of it sounds like tin foil hat stuff, and some of the information comes across as legitimate.
There have been declassified documents released through FOI in the states from the department of defense that detail how to use frequencies as a weapon that make for interesting reading to say the least.
There are many videos up that deal how smart meters use and are connected to the grid; Agenda 21 and both of these relation to carbon credit trading.
There are so may resources addressing this issue on the internet-the main ones are stop smart meters dot org and refuse smart meters dot com. Canadian and American utility sites also contain information about their smart meters and the information they collect. There are also videos and websites encouraging the use of smart meters that also come across as legitimate that refute any evidence that smart meters do harm in any form.
Below are a couple of the more interesting takes.
