Tony Blair's Britain

Where the foxes caper unmolested, the government packs your school lunch and the hum of the intellectuals grows ever louder...

My late mother carefully distinguished between intellectuals (largely those with liberal arts degrees) and intelligentsia (doctors, engineers, scientists, mathematicians, etc.) regarding the former as useless opinionated twits. I recently had a run in with a local socialist bigwig, who produced an endless list of marvellous phony reasons for not doing his elected job - useless intellectual opinionated twit.

And that is why it doesn't really matter if Britain leaves the EU or not and why Hannan and any other freedom-oriented individual needs to give up on and leave Limey Island at once.

“We don’t want freedom any more, Alex. We want regulation. We want control.”

Spoken by people who expect to perenially be the regulators/controlers.
I'm sure their tune would change to demanding freedom were they to find themselves to be the regulated/controled faction.

"Reaction was there none."

Not only does this guy fancy himself the reincarnation of Thomas Paine, he channels Yoda too.

Could I have my earlier comment released from the filter please?

Where are they going to go, LAS? Here? This island of "freedom" we have, where you daren't put your name to anything that isn't pre-approved by the Lefties?

Stand up and fight or die like a dog.

Be VERY careful, The Phantom, or you too will have as extensive a DHS file as I do...

Britain has grown soft, lazy and irrelivant. Living on memories of the past when they were independent and proud. The glory days before the social engineers and watered down immigration policies turned it into a nanny state that resembles Obamas vision of the future. A template for any country that allows bureaucrats to decide what's best for you, and elects politicians based on socialist ideologies.

Phantom: they should come here, or to America. Maybe Panama. There is no fighting in Britain. It's over. There only hope is mass immigration.

“We don’t want freedom any more, Alex. We want regulation. We want control.”

I've been railing here for months about the neo-fascists. This is as naked an expression of their creed as one could hope for.

Apparently, these people don't realize that civilized but freedom loving individuals will take their fascism up to a point, and then explode. The coming economic calamity may well be the turning point.

Relevant to the discussion, transcribed from a recent speech and published yesterday in Taki's Magazine is ⚔In Defense of English Civilization⚔

A Scottish friend, upon seeing me take a pocket knife out of my pocket, informed me that in the present UK I might be arrested for carrying such a knife,
much less for displaying it.

Sic transit gloria mundi.

In the end, LAS, Britain won't have to leave the EU any more than Britain had to "leave" the Roman Empire (and trust me, neither one would let Britain "leave" given any say in the matter).

Finally even the banksters will figure out that the EU was just another bad idea from the continent that was never going to turn a profit, and pull the monetary plug. Standing armies and police forces will desert or mutiny in droves, leaving the traitors and communists in high office in every quarter of Europe (including Britain) to learn the meaning of the loyalist slogan "All Traitors are Targets." The outcome will make the Romanian revolution look like a brawl in a kindergarten.

You and I, LAS, may just live to see the last champagne socialist in Britain hanged by the entrails of the last imam, with the crozier of the last pervert of a Roman bishop rammed up his fundament while he's still alive to feel the pain.

And frankly? I can't wait.

Oh -absolutely-. That's what I mean when I say "stand and fight". Some turd stands up in a meeting and says "We want regulation. We want control." you don't quietly observe, you rip him a new one and send the sonofabitch home crying.

Saves a bunch of rope and lamp posts later on, know what I mean?
