About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

I am going to be taking the time to watch. I do not have a vote but I do have a voice. What's good for America is good for Canada.

"let me be clear"
In Obama speak this means that what follows is unadulterated BS, but I expect you in the MSM to report it as the gospel truth. Do not try and determine if it is the truth, because it isn't.
Yup, floundering, it is his way.
Elected, without a plan or focus, other than redistribution of wealth, his ethnicity his primary asset, he is coming irrelevant. Overseas policy, an abscence of FIRM stand on any issue, has unfortunately made himm as POTUS, irrelevant. A real shame.
It was a social movement, a desire for more without payment or sacrifice (read entitled), that in the land of free enterprise and a clear constitution, will become his undoing.
In my upbringing, race, history, status, where you were from was irrelevant. What are your core beliefs, what is your stand on important issues, and what will you be judged by. These were what the measure was.
One can only hope that the USA wakes up, and elects someone competent, with firm measureable beliefs and policies. Otherwise the world and wackos will make the world a much more risky place to be.
Win, lose, or draw, it's about leadership and fundemental values and beliefs, NOT a popularity contest, I'm entitled to more, someone else MUST pay. On these measures Mr O fails, unfortunate but true.
The Free World needs leadership, for better or worse, the USA and North America set the tone.
We'll see what transpires, but I truly hope that we regain our rationality and return to our values, otherwise, man the gates, the siege will begin.
My two bits as they say.
Ha. I love this. I printed this out the other day to refer to when watching the debate tomorrow night. I think it is going to be hilarious to see how often he tries to get away with this b.s.
"Republican Opposition to my plans"
In Obama speak this means that I could not pass this crud even in 2009 and 2010 when I had a veto proof majority in the US House and Senate. Not even Harry and Nancy were crazy enough to pass this crazy crud. And they approved Obamacare!
"The stimulus worked"
In Obama speak this means that even though employment is above 8 percent, my main goal of paying back the municipal unions, the teachers unions, the urban politicians, and other supporters for their support in 2007 and 2008 worked out.
"investment in the green economy"
In Obama speak this means that I gave billions of dollars to environmentally correct but unworkable solar and windmill projects and other boondoggles. I gave billions of US taxpayer dollars to them, and they returned millions in campaign contributions to me and my democratic pals. With millions for billions, the rate of return seem low, but I was able to trade taxpayer money for MY money.
If I were Romney, the second or third time Bambam goes over the time limit, I'd walk over, take off my watch, and hand it to him. And when Bambam starts sputtering, I'd say "you go over your time limit as often as you over the spending limit".
Meanwhile in Chicago:
The state of Illinois faces at least $83 billion in unfunded liability between its five pension systems, and is on track to spend more on its government pensions than on education by 2016, a new study released by Governor Pat Quinn’s office says.
http://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/2012/08/06/illinois-to-spend-more-on-pensions-than-on-education/
Oops, my faux pas, that link was meant for California.
O's floundering is legendary and entertaining. But I just attributed it to "flashbacks" from his "choom" days.
Any gearbox that full of THC will miss a gear now and then. Hence the teleprompter/crutch.

Harvard has the best pot.
blah blah blah aaaaannd blah blah blah
Listen for the long 'and'.
I can't stand to listen to him anymore. Obama is a Niagara falls of lies that obscure any reason, most especially any truth telling.Just a cascade of dishonesty, with bad acting.
The first debate is tomorrow night?
Great,I'll be watching that! Romney had better do well, very well,as the President still looks like he's in for a second term,Allah forbid.
The critical thing about the TV debate is it avoids the MSM filter....
The Univision programme was suppressed....the debate not so much.
I suspect that we will learn a more lot about Romney than about OBOZO.....
Obama's poker tells.
"Don't call my bluff."
-Barky Oblahblah to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.)2011
I think maybe Snap or Go Fish is more Barky's speed than poker is.
Now if you want to talk about how badly Oblablah lies well just say so.
