The Real Mitt Romney

Did the MSM have a secret meeting and not tell us?!

The Demmie's viciousness about Romney explained: he's a mensch! Unlike their guy.

The other day Bob Beckel said on Fox News 'The Five' that it was over. He believes Obama has lost and that there is no chance of Obama winning. Beckel has been very quiet since then. Perhaps CBS sees the writing on the wall and has decided to be real journalists for the rest of the campaign?

Very interesting considering the third debate moderator will be Bob Schieffer.

Very surprised to see the almamater of so many leftard journalists airing a piece like that.

Romney's integrity has shone thru throughout this campaign.

Mormanism has had a checkered past on how honestly it has dealt with the public. In some circles it was OK if non-Mormans were the victims of Morman owned companies. The Morman Church was what took precedence in all dealings.

We also have to realize that Morman's cannot be singled out because questionable business acts and personal shortcomings are common throughout society.

Not often do I watch one of these videos all the way through. I've never heard that kind of talk on any of the networks. If this is the new tone of the MSM.... Obama's done.

I predict Democrats are going to get vicious, and it's going to backfire on them.

Amazing that the MSM did this at all. The fact that Obama has accomplished so little and bragged so much , and Mitt has accomplished so much and said so little is a testimont to the bias of the media. sort of like CBCpravda's statement about Layton , "his many accomplishments" when in fact there were none. none, and I ask anyone to name even one.

Was that Gayle King? Oprah's best friend?

And she is not a anti-rich anti-white in-love-with-Obama leftard?

woah...

No wonder we never hear about those people, the liberal establishment does not want us to know they exist

This is reminiscent of Stephen Harper's's end of year interviews during 06 election. The media warmed up to him and he finally connected with the voters who were just beginning to consider their selection. This is one of many similarities between this POTUS and the 06 Canadian federal election IMO.

To my pleasant surprise Mr Romney has connected with the electorate. I love his joke about chastizing Mario Cuomo about thinking he could be president just because he and his father were governors.

He has shown himself to be a gentleman who exhibits dignity and humility. The US network media have no choice but to pay attention; that is the only reason they are playing nice right now, because they don't want to back the loser, so they are hedging their bets.

This is still a close election, with momentum leaning towards Romney. He must be careful in debate3 to act as a gentleman but still be quite firm with Obama with his obfuscation v.v. Libya, pointing out this is but a sympton of the Obama's administration's disengaged (paralytic?) approach to foreign affairs, particularly the ME, especially Iran and Israel. Why on earth would the POTUS refuse a simple request by an ally (Israeli PM) for a meeting but follow the obscene UN meanderings of the Iranian leader with a speech of his own?

It's important he not let Obama off the hook as he did in the Town Hall; there could be a similar Crowley caper with the moderator (BTW, who will that be?). Call his BS about politicizing Libya by throwing that back in his face with several examples of his duplicity; he/his admininstration either believed the ambassador's death was an AQ op or they intentionally lied to the American public. There is no grey area here, Romney must make that clear.

Yes Romney has cultivated a personable presidential image and that's important to maintain, but leadership does mean being firm when the issues are important and not being addressed properly. I look forward to his performance; he has responded with a big game thus far so there's good reason for optimism.

Unfortunately, for those with the mindset of getting credit for being a "giving" person, the proper way to give alms is to be quiet about it.

If you broadcast it so you look good then you are not really giving - it's about you receiving praise for it.

Kind of a no-win situation for a giver like Romney. You don't how much of a giver he is until some accuser says he isn't - then the truth gets found out that he is and now his spiritual cache for doing it is wasted.

If I were a devil I would be happy that everyone knows how much he gives - knowing that Romney loses all credit where it counts the most - in his relationship with God.

In other words: I see his quietness about his ging as evidence he really does follow his faith.
