Ezra has set up a fund for you to contribute to to send Sgt. Speers' children to college. Please think about giving what you can.

I'm so glad he'd doing this.

Help if one can.

After all, the American and Canadian governments clearly don't care about the Speers.

How much could be gotten from Khadr's organs? Should he pass away and enough is salvagable...?

...just wondering out loud.

Saw Ezra on Sun tonight. Just made my contribution.
I see it's already reached more than 4,000 dollars. Not bad for the first few hours. Hope it hits the goal.

Better yet, bounty...

What does a drone attack cost anyway?

Damn! There's no PayPal option.
Please consider adding it, Ezra!
Despite PayPal's shortcomings, the fewer times I have to submit my CC info to an unfamiliar site the better. For this suspicious senior, anyway.

It would be nice if this fundraising effort got plenty of media coverage, just as the story of the NY state wchool bus monitor did who was bullied by teens on the bus. Local, regional, national news... didn't matter. That story was everywhere, and the saturation coverage itself helped to obliterate the target goal of raising $5,000 by pulling in over $700,000.

Sadly, they will do the oppsosite for Speers' widow and kids, with this story not getting a peep in the MSM. Hypocrites.

so at 10:15. Are you nuts? So not one single thing in the main stream press about Omar is correct? You sir or mam are crazy. Please leave Canada and don't come back.

Hey "so" are you one of the Stupid twins? I remember meeting Very.

The big payday for Speer's widow will come if she expands the lawsuit that had been filed in Utah against Omar's old man. Utah District Judge Paul Cassell gave his ruling on February 17, 2006, awarding C$102.6 million in damages of which approximately C$94 million to Speer's widow with the rest to Morris, the soldier who lost an eye due to Omar's murderous attack.

Although that judgement is against the estate of Khadr's old man, the lawsuit was in regard ot Omar's old man's failure to control his creepy son, Omar. But it would be a simple matter to now add Omar to the lawsuit.

Any money that Khadr MIGHT win here would simply end up going to satisfy the U.S. judgement. In other words, Canadian taxpayers would be paying for the wrongful death of a U.S. soldier caused by a (so-called) Canadian citizen who is a terrorist.

When that happens, the Canadian government should also issue an apology from the people of Canada for creating a piece of filth like Omar Khadr.

Joey
You can thank Chretien and the Liberals for this filthy family.

We're done with so/news tldr's

Thanks Lance.

I have to echo Mal's comment and request @ 10:25.

Joey: I am not sure the lawsuit is applicable here in Canada. American military authorities were careful to stipulate that any money coming to Khadr Jr. through books, films, would accrue to the Speer and Morris families. I don't know if Canadian authorities made similar rulings; if so they haven't mentioned it.Probably they fear the media would be enraged that the government was picking on him again.
I would hope our government would clearly state that repatriation and parole would depend on Khadr waiving any legal suits against Canada.
Does anyone know if this is legally possible with the Charter?

Need to get that Paypal option up pronto...

I don't use credit cards, but would love to donate.

Ditto on the Paypal request.

Martin....yes, the U.S. judgement CAN be satisfied within Canada. Look up the enforcement of foreign judgments.

A case does not have tried in Canada. The Canadian courts would be expected to enforce a US judgement, by international treaty. Being a minor does not normally relieve one of legal responsibility under tort law.

Seems my suggestion to my MP to bring Khadr "home" in a body bag was ignored.

There are only so many causes one can contribute to.

BUT, did Ezra ever contribute to any? How about the FreeDominion one?....just saying!
