About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

So, Joe's Foot-in-mouth disease isn't cured yet. Oh well. The election is soon.
It's about time the spirit of Spiro Agnew took the forefront.
He never fails to deliver the crazy.
In some very small part of my heart I feel rather sorry for this man. I sincerely hope he seeks medical help soon. But not before November 7th.
One heartbeat away........does that register on Dumbocrats? He's reason enough to avoid like the plague
I'm Mitt Romney and I approve this message.....
Good point, DanBC.....and to think people were afraid of Sarah Palin being the second in command!
Oh, I how wish Leslie Nielsen (RIP) was still with us!
He'd make a perfect Biden when Hollyweird comes out next year with their blockbuster The Naked Teleprompter! [By then, they'll have tossed the big Zero aside like yesterday's underwear].
Course, it goes without saying, OJ would have to have the starring role.
This never ends. Just a couple of days ago he asked:
How many of you know of someone who served in Iraq or Iran? (times two)
foobert, thanks for the link. I haven't watched much news over the past few days, apart from a few Media Party nightly newscasts before bed. I was unaware of this Biden gaffe until now. Thanks for proving that, yet again, the Media Party is in the business of withholding stories from people like me -- occasional viewers of news -- and that blogs, citizen journalists, and alternative media in general, is the only way to to get the full story, in addition to exposing how dishonest and reprehensible the Media Party truly is.
@snagglepuss
You win !!! Lol best comment so far Leslie Nielsen in naked gun ...you could not tell the difference between him and joe put y'all back in chains Biden!!!
I will miss Smoking Joe hair raiser.
He is a wild and crazy guy.
Kept us laughing during some hard times.
He exemplifies the Donkey theme of the Democratic Party.
Are we *sure* he's on Obama's side?
I also wonder about Bob Beckel and Tamara Holder.
And Bill Clinton.

BCE ASKS OTTAWA TO STEP IN AFTER CRTC REJECTS $3.4-BILLION ATRAL TAKEOVER
Bell Media, the employers of Harper-bashers like LaFlamme, Fife, Smith, Newman and Oliver, among others, each of whom have attacked PMSH and the gov't on what they allege at times is too much state interference by the gov't, meddling at times in what should be at-arms-length bureaucracies, now having the nerve to ask the gov't of PMSH to do them a favour by requesting them to do now what they've so criticized them for doing in the past? And doing so for no other reason than to improve their own employer's bottom line rather than their spin that the attempt to acquire Astral Media is in the best interest of Canadians.
More disturbingly, their reporters/news anchors file their report with a straight face, showing little signs of what a normal person's body language would convey in what should be a moment of discomfort, at least displayed by those driven by principle and ethic when put in a position of making such a hypocritical request. No twitching, no shifting of the eyes, no indication from them whatsoever, nothing that even the most seasoned body language expert would ever detect. Scary. I would love to have seen each in their younger days, in those broadcasting courses and the mock interview component they did when learning the ropes, learning how to deceive a mass audience and to come off as a professional doing so. More disturbingly: how to feel GOOD ABOUT IT afterwards.
Saying no to Bell Media's request should give PMSH that same warm, fuzzy feeling he got from saying NO to the lead ranking member of the Media Party, the CBC, who themselves made a request of his gov't in Jan 2009, during the depths of the recession, asking for a cash advance on their 2010 $1 billion bailout, this just a month after assisting coup plotters in attempt to overturn a democratic election result, and began the process just weeks after the vote. Probably a given for a state broadcaster who aspires to be the real thing and have been out of their element over the past 6-plus years.
Guess he got control of the giggles, he wasn't laughing when he said it.
sorry for the link and comment I provided above... thought I was in reader tips.
Wow, two amazing points here.
A) Joe isn't locked in a cellar in an undisclosed location until after the election.
B) A politician on the stump speaking the truth? Isn't that a sign of the impending apocalypse?
