We've got this.

"Anyone who is willing to stand next me, to fight the progressive left. I will be in that bunker. And if you're not in that bunker 'cause you're not satisfied with this candidate...More than shame on you...you're on the other side."

Breitbart outlines the stakes in 2012 better than anyone, starting at 16:48.

And if you're not in that bunker 'cause you're not satisfied with this candidate...More than shame on you...you're on the other side."

F*%ck you Breitbart I'm not gonna support your craptastic candidate just because you're too dim to see beyond TEAM. Shame on the GOP for picking a lousy nominee from a lousy roster of candidates and being a hypocritical big-government promulgating POS.

JOHNSON 2012

Damn, he would have so enjoyed that debate yesterday.

First, you control the airwaves; witness the current media. next you control protein, cut off irrigation to food growing places and turn food into useless fuel, wait for what is next if not stopped. This is not a new plan, one that was invented by the master of monkey business, no it was invented by masters of tyranny, and they are well into their master plan of taking over the last great inventors of business, thanks Hollywood and their enablers. i refuse to watch any movies or buy any papers.

LAS, honestly, there's no Ron Paul, no Johnson, no freaking Superman. It's Romney or four more years of the Stutterer-in-Chief. Those are the choices, ideal or not. Live with it.

Thank you Andrew.

F*%ck you LAS.

Exactly. This includes specifically all the Ron Paul quislings like LAS. Get with the program or get out.

Osumashi, LAS is typical of the spoiled brat who pi$$es in the sandbox because he can't have it all and won't share it with anyone else. The remorseless lesson of politics is that these types always lose. Simply having them in the same room brings the stench of pettiness, failure and defeat.

The Breitbart team and supporters of the conservative candidate, ROMNEY, are infused with energy, proving their worth in Andrew Breitbart's memory. Every day they reveal more FACTS detailing the real agenda behind Obama's campaign for four more years to "finish the job," as the current puppet President put it. I've given a lot of thought to just WHO is behind B.H.Obama's lust for power. Some backers are well known, but others are still in the shadows.

Hmmmm...rather disconcerting use of the term 'bunker'....you need to exercise a little more discretion in your choice of clips, 'lance'. ;)

joe, to use another quote, "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Bunker was what Breitbart said, thus the quotes.

And what's w/ the scare quotes around my name?

Indeed, cgh.

I just don't understand the bullish attitude given the current political climate. Perhaps Romney is not perfect but he's not Obama. He is intelligent, well-spoken and a decent family man. He has a command of the facts, something the debate proved Obama has not. That's what we have to choose from.

Andrew was a great man. One often wonders about his demise, was it prussic acid, or something else? He was bigger than people realize, a smart person on the right, that had the time, passion and energy, to convey the message, a message that will ensure our future and our children's future, if listened to. He was an anomaly, usually we long term thinkers, are so busy making a living, raising our intact families, we can't take or afford the time to put the message out, that this kind of thinking is normalcy, so the void is always filled by creeps and malcontents from the left, self loathers, race baiters, deviants of all sorts, along with the fight starters, or Molotov cocktail throwing media, the very machine that make up the Obama Trudeau type voter.

LAS - classic example of if I can't get things exactly the way I want, then I'm not going to play.

Unfortunately reality doesn't work that way and if Ron Paul felt the same way, he'd be running as an independent presidential candidate. He isn't as that would be the surest way of getting Obozo re-elected.

Life is about choices and the choices one gets aren't the ones one would prefer. I'd really like to have a Libertarian president/prime minister/premier but that's not going to happen in the short term. The closest we came in BC was in 2002 when the BC Marijuana party got 50,000 votes in the provincial election. It was also when Marc Emery wasn't leading the Marijuana party. In BC politics, one is usually given a choice of moonbats and so in provincial elections I do vote Libertarian if that choice is available. In federal elections, I vote Conservative as that is a far more likely path to future Libertarianism than the socialist alternatives.

In the US election, unless one wants to destroy the world's only bastion of enlightenment thought, there is no other choice than to vote Republican and, yes, that would mean voting for Romney for president. I suspect that Romney is a RINO, but the beauty of the US system is that the people do have a lot more of a say than anywhere else in the world. The last thing that needs to happen if Romney gets in is for the TEA party to disband -- they'll be needed more than ever to ensure that politicians respect the US constitution. Groups like the NRA are ever vigilant to ensure that constitutional rights aren't eroded.

Right now 47% of the US population are effectively parasites and I suspect Romney is going to be effective in reducing that percentage. Parasites vote for more entitlements for themselves and this aspect of democracy needs to be addressed if the US is to survive in the long term.

Hey, here's a column on the Daily Caller, by Theo Caldwell, a favourite of mine who used to work for Sun TV. As per usual, Theo lays it out nicely.

"It is ironic that as this administration is plagued by trillion-dollar deficits, unprecedented debt levels, unemployment above eight percent, anemic economic growth, a murdered ambassador and subsequent cover-up, the Salafist flag of al Qaida flying over U.S. embassies, the Fast and Furious scandal and a deeply unpopular health care law, this little video could be what jars the electorate out of its stupor when it comes to Obama. That’s because America is faster to forgive a failure than a phony.

And Barack Obama is a phony baloney of the first order. It’s not just the Tropic Thunder accent he puts on in the Hampton address — it’s the race-baiting message. Remember, this speech was given three years after Obama’s “no red states, no blue states, but the United States of America” effusion at the 2004 Democratic National Convention that launched his career."

Well said, Loki.

I would only add that, unlike Canada, the HoR and Senate races hold the purse strings of the nation.

There are a lot more Republicans of the strong fiscal conservative or libertarian beliefs on those tickets.

This isn't just a two-horse race.

The republican elite told us we needed to choose Romney as our standard bearer in 2012. We did.

Many of these same republican elite have been telling the mainstream media (always anonomously, always unnamed) in these last 3 weeks that Romney is doing badly, Romney is wrong, Romney is a lousy candidate. They have spent the last 3 weeks kowtowing to the democrats and the mainstream media.

These so-called republicans do not want to win. Winning might end their cushy advisor gigs. They want to lose, so nothing changes for them. They are more interested in maintaining their cushy positions and their social whirl in NY, LA and DC. If we win, their positions could be jeopardized, as they may be expected to help govern. They might need to take a stand for Republican and Conservative policies. Their buddies in the MSM might not like that. They will not be invited to all the right parties and dinners. They are as bad for the US Nation as the progressives and communists like Ayers, Dohrn, and the institutional left.

These "republicans" are the antithesis of Andrew Breitbart, the Tea Party, and Conservatives. They are hacks looking for a paycheck. But it does not matter. I will crawl all 9 miles through broken glass to my polling place to vote for Romney on 11/6. These idiots will not prevent us from electing a republican.

PS These are the same experts that told us McCain was the answer in 2008.

Andrew - you left us way too soon. God speed.

I miss that man. Life can be so unfair.

Well said, LAS! Mittens is nothing more than the Chimp in Chief without the tan. His entire record in Taxachussetts speaks for itself. May they BOTH rot in hell where they so truly belong.

LOL@Matis

Your inner liberal has escaped.

Explain Mitt's record in MA vs Reagan's record as President. Please.

It's gut-bustingly funny that LAS condemns Romney as some kind of statist charlatan, but supports Gary Johnson, a loser of a Republican who jumped ship to the Libertarians and is every bit the empty-suit presidential candidate that Obama is. If it had been Johnson at the other end of that stage the other night, Romney would have cleaned his clock just as surely as he did Obama's. Start reading the Market Ticker blog, LAS, and learn about what a fraud Johnson is.

tl;dr version: Johnson is a sham and the Libertarian party couldn't win an election for dog catcher.

It's important to remember that Mitt Romney was governor in one of the most progressive states and Dems had control of the state legislature. The fact that he was able to balance the budget at all is quite remarkable.

Regarding Andrew Breitbart's I have one problem. He spoke of being in a bunker, which is a defensive position. Wars, even culture wars, are not won by defence, they are won by offence, advancing into the enemies ranks and destroying them, in this case with facts and logic which are to liberals/socialists/progressives as garlic and stakes are to vampires.

Andrew was the genius that's going to be responsible for getting O sent back to Chicago or Hawaii or wherever. Otherwise western civilization could be at risk. Don't just sit back and take it, stand up and say your piece. Don't let them BS us and get away with it. Romney may not be perfect but he'll crush Obama on Nov 6. The MSM is going to explode in apoplexy. It is going to be a joy to behold.

I miss Breitbart!

Yep, the progressive left have control of our schools, unions, public service, academia and it's about time we took back what doesn't belong to that small group of imbecils.

Advice for Americans: declare bankruptcy and start all over again.

This time without Social Security, Medicare, Affirmative Action, public schooling, Obamacare (TM), RomneyCare, TSA, public sector unions, too-big-to-succeed firms, ethanol mandates, green energy scams, F-35s, NDAA, and other four letter words.

Electing Romney will only delay the inevitable --- the crash of the government ponzi schemes.

Come February, there will need be an inquisition and purge, of unprecedented extent since Nuremburg. The fate of Freedom and democracy depends upon that.

The question will be as to whether it is above or below the radar.

"The tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time by the blood of patriots and tyrants."
Thomas Jefferson

IM: You're ignorant. Johnson was a great governor of NM and issued more vetoes than all the other governors.

LAS - classic example of if I can't get things exactly the way I want, then I'm not going to play.

That's a classic example of attacking a strawman because you can't counter my argument. I would have been willing to support a strong fiscal conservative with a real plan Romney has/is neither. Romney and Obama are much more similar than different that is a fact.

Is there something wrong with you people? Do you have amnesia? I remember the last time the US had all 3 branches under RED TEAM control and the result was a total disaster. You can delude yourself that voting GOP/Con is the path to forward. But I can see you're going in circles.

LAS, is there another option to choose? The last time I checked, it was Romney or Obama. That's it. Stamping your feet won't change the choices before the American electorate. Just deal with it.
