Jason Kenney wants to be and will be Supreme Dictator of Canada's Borders.

Here's a choice part of the new act. This is what can get you bounced:

(c) counsel, encourage or incite others to commit terrorist activity or terrorist violence;

(d) incite hatred that is likely to lead to violence against a specific group;

(e) promote, counsel, encourage or incite serious criminal activity.

In other words, you can get blocked out of Canada if you...say anything. Such as criticizing Mohammed, the Koran, or making a weird YouTube video. Or otherwise ticking off Jason Kenney/JK's successors. I'm sure the above offences will be expanded to include anti-abortion activists. And JK will have sole authority blah blah blah due process is for the weak.

I guess JK can expand his achievements as Minister of Citizenship and immigration from just making it harder for poor people to come to Canada to include giving government yet more power and less accountability.

99% of pwoplw know little or nothing about frac'ing , including government and the CBC but I have to hear about it all the time.
nothing in the world would please me more that to get a frac to run 2 or 3000 meters.

Phrothing Phil in 3..2..1...

On Dennis Miller's show today, they were discussing what would have happened if Ohio's Rob Portman had been nominated as Romney's VP candidate.

A guy from Spokane called up and said:

"I wonder why Romney didn't nominate Natalie Portman to guarantee the Naboo vote?!"

Good stuff! But please--don`t underestimate Saskatchewan!

Wheat production in Canada.

√ Saskatchewan – 48%
√ Alberta – 16%
√ Manitoba – 28%
√ Ontario – 7%

OMMAG that gal is obviously disturbed, Jarad Loughner type disturbed. Which begs some questions...Where is the outcry against the race baiters who drove this mentally ill person over the edge? If Obama had a mentally ill daughter would she look like Sharmeka?

Right SYNCRO ... she is unbalanced.

But what came first?

Is this a Chicken or Egg scenario?

Or .... is it just a case of the far edge of the liberal/left/progessive mental disorder.

I suspect that most of the people who propagate and repeat the BS would never believe or care what consequences come of it.

"But please--don`t underestimate Saskatchewan!"

I didn't notice any underestimating of Saskatchewan??

Nothing stopping you from making a Saskatchewan video!!

syncro, yes around 1955 Pembina Cardium and Belly River , none frac'ed to surface or even to the fresh water aquafers ,

Who really knows why crazy people do crazy things. I was being sarcastic with the Loughner reference.

I have known people who killed themselves (2) and both were very needy and self centered. Both traits are hallmarks of the left so a case can be made that this is a chicken and egg scenario...

So we're coming up to nearly 60 years of fracing history in Alberta...we should be living in a flaming wasteland by now according to our leftard friends...

Q: What is the result of a bunch of left-wing greenies trying to save the earth?

A: A ponzi scheme.

What a great video! Aside from being informative and well produced, it's hard to find anything in it that wouldn't drive our friends across the aisle apoplectic. Thanks for sharing.

On Tuesday October 16, I was peacefully going about my own business driving South on highway 5 from Valemont to Kamloops when I encountered a Police Roadblock on the highway near Clearwater. All vehicles were being stopped, many were moved off to the roadside where they were being searched.
An Alberta licensed SUV was in front of me as were vehicles from the US as well as from BC.
I was asked by one of the attending RCMP officers if I was carrying a firearm. This was the first and only question.
This was clearly what Defense Lawyers call a "fishing expedition" as some of the drivers were being handed tickets for what I assume were minor vehicular infractions. Others were removing all vehicle contents and placing them on the roadside for inspection.
I'm sure this was an interesting display of Cuba North for our American friends.
Of course our media was absent.
I would make my usual protest to my MLA but I know I would just get the usual run-around.
May I suggest that if any of our Legal Rights Advocates from the Law Society or such, are privy to this, perhaps they should do some "test shopping".
For a simple shmuck like myself, I would only be detained and may run into Legal bills for my effort. And it would prove nothing.

Only in B.C. you say?

@gunney99: I'm not a big fan of checkstops or anything, but this happened in Kamloops on the 18th, and if you're from the area you know there is major gang problems. It may have been more than a fishing expedition.. but I don't drive that section of highway often so don't know for sure.

And more generally, anything less than "shall-issue" concealed carry licenses are an insult to a free citizenry. If there's anthing conservatives can get together on and lobby for, please let it be that.

"Congressman's son resigns after voter fraud video

The field director for Virginia Democratic Rep. Jim Moran - his son Patrick Moran - has resigned after being secretly recorded seemingly advising an conservative journalist masquerading as a supporter that utility bills could be used to aid in voter fraud.

"Patrick is well liked and was a well-respected member of the campaign team. This incident, however, was clearly an error in judgment," said a statement from Moran for Congress. "The campaign has accepted Patrick's resignation, effective immediately."

The undercover video comes from Project Veritas, which is led by group James O'Keefe - the activist whose undercover videos have caused serious headaches for ACORN, NPR and other groups. It shows a Project Veritas "investigator" telling Patrick Moran that he has a friend who is seeking to "get in a van" and vote on behalf of about 100 people. Patrick Moran responds with skepticism, but is later shown saying the person voting on behalf of others could potentially use "utility bills or something like that."

"He'll need bills," says Moran. "He'll need something with the name and their address on it." He adds, "they can fake a utility bill with ease, you know?"

Moran later says the person would be better off participating in traditional get-out-the-vote efforts, but he goes on to have a conversation about how to forge documents."

Good video. I have just turned 70. As a child, although a townie, I had connections to a farm through my mother. My children did not. I suspect there are a lot of folks my age who can say that. We are now so urbanized there is an almost total disconnect between most Canadians and the farms that feed us.

"Ford Motor Co. (F) and Dow Chemical Co. (DOW) joined a growing number of companies firing thousands of workers as sluggish U.S. growth and Europe’s deepening recession lead to a persisting slump in sales.

North American companies have announced plans to eliminate 62,600 positions at home and abroad since Sept. 1, the biggest two-month drop since the start of 2010, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Firings total 158,100 so far this year, more than the 129,000 job cuts in the same period in 2011."

"A devastating cholera outbreak in Haiti that has killed more than 7,500 people has been blamed on United Nations’ peacekeeping troops in the country.

Dr. Daniele Lantagne, a leading international public health expert who helped investigate the outbreak for the UN, said the “most likely” source of the cholera was a camp for soldiers from Nepal, a country where the water-borne disease is widespread."

Great video and I regret bringing up one minor correction. Alberta is the only Canadian jurisdiction producing sugar from sugar beets. In southwestern Ontario a large quantity (for us) of sugar beets are grown to be sent to Michigan for processing. However, I humbly acknowledge, the West does everything and does it big. Except produce Red Tories and Commie pinkos.

Yes we Albertans are more than happy to let you keep the Turdough family there in the east farmerboy. Along with Dullton, although we would make a trade, Linda Duncan for David Menzies?

Swore off alcohol years ago. If the liberals get reelected in Ontario I may have to revisit my vow of abstinence so as to cope. The roots of many of our social maladies trace back to the publically funded education system, especially the secular system. Cannot come up with a more logical explanation for so many stupid people in Ontario than such. This is the first place citizens get the notion that society providees 'free' services and it gets worse from there.

"All eyes will be on the Supreme Court this morning as the clock ticks down to the moment of reckoning for Etobicoke Centre.

Already poised for on-the-spot reaction, not surprisingly, is Borys Wrzesnewskyj, the former Liberal candidate behind the challenge, who will make himself available to the media within moments of finding out whether his lengthy legal battle has ended in victory or defeat. Later this morning, Interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae will hit the Commons Foyer to share his thoughts on the outcome of the case.

The decision -- which will either uphold or overturn the lower court ruling that voided the 2011 election results -- will drop at 9:45, so keep your eyes on the ticker for full coverage.

ATB Financial is an Alberta Crown Corporation and while the video is nice I'll be happier if Premier Wall keeps Saskatchewan Crown Corporations from spending on simply "feel good" self promo. Our previous NDP Premier didn't get much value for "Saskatchewan!" in this regard.

Obama moves to make the War on Terror permanent

Complete with a newly coined, creepy Orwellian euphemism – 'disposition matrix' – the administration institutionalizes the most extremist powers a government can claim

"Mullen told White House and counterterrorism officials that the Pakistani military chief had demanded an answer to a seemingly reasonable question: After hundreds of drone strikes, how could the United States possibly still be working its way through a top 20 list?"

'At best, the Obama campaign is neglecting to implement the necessary procedures to ensure that donations from non-U.S. citizens are not accepted. At worst – and given that I was unable to donate to the Romney campaign, this seems the more likely scenario – the Obama campaign is deliberately failing to implement basic security measures in order to collect donations from foreign citizens.'
