Ken -- that's a good article by Wente -- thanks for posting. They have done something weird with the comments at the Globe. Lots of people have not forgiven Margaret for her journalism "lapse" and are using this as an excuse to dismiss anything she has to say. As is often the case, she has something important to say.

Damn. That penguin story depressed me. But maybe the penguin yearned to be more than a penguin--maybe he wanted to be Jonathan Livingston Penguin--to achieve heights unknown to other penguins.
