I've said it to others that Mitt Romney is just a good, honourable decent man. He is not "flashy" like Obozo, just a smart man who is quiet and unassuming and let's be honest, somewhat boring. That is precisely what the US needs right now. A good man who is smart in spades and has experience unlike Obozo.

Romney's such a heartless miserly jerk. I heard he has a half-brother and a sick little nephew living in a third-world slum.

I just spoke with a friend of mine in Vancouver. He's fairly middle-of-the-road politically. He gets his news from all the usual sources: CBC, CTV, Global, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC.

He started telling me some very peculiar things:

- He believes that the Democrats are very up front and clear about their policies and never try to hide anything.

- He doesn't believe that Obama had anything to do with blocking the completion of the Keystone Pipeline.

- He doesn't think that Obama & co. did anything particularly wrong wrt the economy.

He's thus very confused about how Romney could possibly be ahead in the polls right now. He was particularly confused about the polls in Michigan and Ohio. He thus chalked everything up to "Stupid Americans".

There's an acronym in Computer Science called "GIGO". It means, "Garbage In, Garbage Out".

My friend is not a stupid person. Most would conclude that he's fairly well informed. But the filters of information on the "news" sources he follows a very biased in one particular way.

When I told him that most American businesspeople are scared & uncertain of Obama & his policies, I could have said it in Swahili and gotten the same reaction from my friend: dead silence.

Barry so loved the world that he brought light unto the masses...that his bro and nephew weren't included is practically inconsequential...

But are these real women? Isn't there a rule now to be certifiable female you have to go through the Sisterhood of feminists? Otherwise your just a brainwashed drone. Only they know what all Women want or need ,so they Say.

Looks like Mitt hires the best "man" for the job.

"The war on women" is code for "opposing abortion". "Women's health" = killing babies wrapped up in much more palatable political terminology.

I find it interesting that the left :

1) loves abortion so much and

2) Aren't comfortable talking about abortion

Why do they need to tip toe around the issue? I thought abortion was totally mainstream and stuff and only backwards hicks are against it.

But Sandra Fluke would counter that any man that wont pay for her contraceptives must be pure evil. Women standing up for Romney are normal and therefore, ho hum. The MSM only runs stories on the abnormal which all seem to be in Obama's camp. Like some of the new TV shows. Modern Family, The new normal, all gay loving, knee slapping re-education for stubborn dinasaures like me that miss the pre Obama values. Drifting here, but normal women with set values don't make the news and will be largely ignored by the MSM.

I suspect that anyone who actually knows Mitt Romney - has had access to him personally - admires his intelligence, his wit, his integrity, his energy, and his ability to get things done.

The world of politics is so full of charlatans that it is hard to accept the idea that someone as straight- laced as Mitt Romney may be exactly what he claims to be, but all of the evidence points to exactly that.

Firstly, US politics, and to an extent Canadian politics, has become dreadfully frivilous....how a politician ties his tie..or secures his kit..is irrelevant.
