Cock-up, beginning to end.

From "weeks of lies and cover stories washed away"

Given that this is from AP I'm surprised they didn't have a picture of Romney at his press conference afterwards. You know, cause he was inflaming the situation, or something.

The media are so cupable. They are the enemy, the liars, the enablers and the guilty.

When will someone point out that "hope" doesn't make good foreign policy?

I have often thought about the history of media from the WWII propaganda machine to today's role. Without doubt control of the media thru the war effort was absolutely needed. Desperate times require desperate measures.

The role of news coverage and the propaganda that manipulated that coverage did not go unnoticed by the two forces that controlled it. The politicans and news media itself saw how effective it was. They saw how public attitudes and perceptions could be moulded and in fact controlled. I am not suggesting that this type of thing did not happen prior to WW II. I guess I am dwelling on the enhanced effectiveness of it from that period.

We said from the beginning that this was al al Qaeda attack and not a demonstration over the video. Now AP has finally reported that this was a planned assault.

The President and his administration are now publicly caught lying about the death of the Libyan ambassador and three others. This is NOT like lying about whether the POTUS went golfing yesterday. This is deliberately lying about the death of an American ambasador and maintaining tht lie for weeks.

Obama over his term in office has shown many characteristics of weakness as a leader. Now he is shown as deliberately duplicitous to the American people. Richard Nixon lied about Watergate and was forced out of office because of it.

Why is this despicable swine still in office?

Oh, and one more thing, no one died during Watergate. In Libya however, not only was the Ambassador killed, but the US administration used the al Quaeda cover story. Is this not collusion with the enemy?

Four more weeks.

Four more weeks.

Four more weeks & a one way ticket back to Rahmistan.

Worst president ever. Incompetent, incorrigible and indolent. Petulant, perverse and pretentious. Your turn.

Disingenuous, dishonest, despicable.

Vain, vacuous and virulent. Contemptuous, corrupt and craptacular.

Evasive, execrable effluent.

For those who didn't see it, Walter is messing with your mind.

In case you missed it, Romney uttered those same words on Monday and even went further. Something to the effect of hope cannot be the solution of foreign policy problems.

Nice try to appear clever, though.

Obnoxious, odious organizer.

"Organizer" is an insult, btw. It means "sleazy piece of sh1t who makes money by conning people into burning down their own neighborhoods."

Barry's Indian name is "Ermine Looks In Mirror".

Clearly they need to up their apology campaign in Pakistan. Or maybe keep up the Big Bird attacks or something.

LibyaGate . . . four Americans murdered, American Sovereign territory attacked by para military forces armed with heavy infantry weapons and Obama, Climate, Rice et all have participating in a cover up of the Truth.

But it looks like State Department isn't going to roll over and they have held press conferences to prove the White House is covering up.

The MSM/Press now must cover the story.

Sweat. It is never the crime, it is always the cover up.

Given that the un-sanitized story now indicates that rebel mobs were firing AK-47s and lobbing grenades under the escaping armored car from as little as two feet it is a wonder they didn't have a dozen casualties...

Cock up doesn't begin to describe the events...a more accurate description would be something akin to 'supervised neglect'.

Hearts out to the family who lost their loved ones. I'm sure they will all be delighted to receive the following letter:

'Dear Mr. & Mrs. XYZ,

We regret to inform you that your son died, due to our terminal stupidity.

Sincerely,

The State Dept.'

Ouch, that is going to hurt for a long time.

HOUSE HEARING ON 'SECURITY FAILURES' IN DEADLY TERROR ATTACK ON US CONSULATE IN LIBYA

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/10/10/state-department-denies-concluding-film-sparked-consulate-attack-in-libya/#ixzz28unEc0Hw

As Congress holds hearings on the deadly Sept. 11 attack on the US Consulate in Libya, Hillary Clinton's State Department offers a surprise denial of its own on-the-record comments — including those of UN Ambassador Susan Rice.

..............

Lt. Col, Andrew Wood, former head of a 16-member U.S. military team in Libya, was preparing to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee during the first hearing Congress has held to examine the Sept. 11 strike on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.
In prepared remarks, he said "diplomatic security remained weak" through 2011.
"The (regional security officer) struggled to obtain additional personnel there but was never able to attain the numbers he felt comfortable with," he said.

It appears this story will play out over the course of the election season...with additional negative consequences for the parties responsible.

But why have serious discussions, when Big Bird is the topic du jour?

Pompous, pretentious, pathetic.

This should put a new slant on the next two debates.
How the media is gonna spin this is going to be a demonstration of the principle of suspension of disbelief at it's finest.
That and watching Chris Mathews go rabid looking for the real Obama will be documented on youtube for generations.

From the aritcle, ".....as the Romney campaign seeks to humanize the candidate."

Romney, being inhumanm, must do this. No?

the most successfull president @ failing, and leading from behind, and expossing the "press" (MSM) for what it actually IS

Given the current hearings into events thus far the term 'supervised neglect' comes to mind.

The lead story is now "Implausible Denial."

Why is anyone surprised that someone as inexperienced and self-absorbed as Obama be unable to appoint people who know what they're doing ?

The only thing he can measure in anyone is party and/or personal loyalty.

Hillary Clinton as America's diplomat to the world?

A farce descending into tragedy.

Luckily, the American public seems to be coming to their senses.

he is showing the real Hawaiian part of Obama, the pineapple , brown and and thorny on the outside. but really yellow as in chicken on the inside. no decision is rarely the right decision . voting present, the executive in chief is an amateur and not even a good pretender anymore.

...the truth sahll set thee free...

No truer words were ever spoken.

I too have said from day 1, this was an organized, deliberately planned terrorist attack against America. Done to coincide with 9/11 .. which also happens to be my birthday.

I will never forget..and I sure as hell hope the rest of America wakes the F up and finally see's what is happening to their country being perpetrated by this most useless sack of camel Sh!t of a president/admisnistration we have ever seen.

4 more weeks eh... Well, Go Romney.

steakman, hopefully Romney, even if he is "red tory" so to speak, does win the presidency, or Obama will preside over the further decline of the United States and in fact hasten it with his radical socialist agenda.

To this point, the attacks by the Islamists have been pin pricks, but they, both passive and physical, are escalating in frequency. There is a war going on and some, including some leaders, are choosing to ignore it. Hope didn't stop Hitler, resolute action did.
