In the first reports that came out of Benghazi ... this event played out with CNN and other TV broadcaster broadcasting a number of disjointed clips with comments from various agencies in the US government. The information and commentary in those clips was plainly confused and contradictory.

It was clear at that time that the mob was being incited and the provocateurs using the cover provided by the mob to breach the mission property. This is a common tactic used in Gaza by Hamas and the Israelis know it well. Why, by the way is there no comment (apparent) from Israel on this matter?

After about a hour of flailing around, the media clowns grasped onto the "spontaneous protest" story along with the internet video line of crap.
After that they closed ranks and stuck to that story for the next week. Until people in the know started asking questions and the Obama Whitehouse tried to defend their line of crap.

And now ... here we are ... the Chicago Jesus and the Democrat administration are caught. They WILL pay.

As for the MSMers .... they need to be hammered without mercy for trying to bury the facts.

The picture being painted is becoming more clear.

Stevens has been implicated in the selling of arms to Syrian Rebels. Stevens met with a Turkish diplomat just before the attack. The Russians have accused the US of supplying heavy weapons to the Syrian Rebels (Al Qaeda leaning). The US has denied.

The Turkish diplomat left the compound unharmed.

The CIA post a mile away reported the attack at 9:40 but was denied help and told to do nothing. An hour later Woods called again, told to stand down, but went out with another ex-seal, Doherty for a rescue. Reports are he rescued some from the compound, and took with him the body of Sean Smith, but could not find Stevens.

Upon returning to the CIA HQ around midnight, the CIA came under attack. An AC-130 Spectre gunship is overhead, but not given permission to engage targets lazed by CIA operatives. Woods and Doherty are killed. At around the same time, Stevens is known to be dead. Al Qeada calls off the attack on the consulate.

my understanding is that one drone was redirected immediately and another sent in to relieve it, apparently. The C130 gunships were only a short hop away, maybe an hour's flight, max. They could have got their in time.

In short, why would the guys on the ground laser designate the target if they didn't have assets in the air? Special Ops always have the call on an AC-130U gunship should things get nasty.

Somebody had to overide the SOP(Standing Operating Procedure) to save lives and assets on the ground 'in extremis'; that would be the POTUS.

I don't care if it was a video, gun running, or any other real or imagined conspiracy that led to the attack. What matters in the real world is What Was The Administration's Response!

What I see in the Administration's response is completely unacceptable and instead of campaigning Barack Hussein Obama should be tendering his resignation along with almost every member of his cabinet. Oh yeah the real president, Valarie Jarret, should be gone as well.
