John O'Sullivan hypothesized gun-running as the real story behind Bengazi-gate in a posting a few days ago in NRO. He compared it with Iran-Contra. That seemed possible to me but so far unsubstantiated. Still, O'Sullivan is a serious person.

We should be clear that Beck isn't introducing new information. He's taking already-available information and applying an interpretation to it. His interpretation is possible but now needs corroborating evidence. Otherwise it will just be a conspiracy theory.

Nixon, Ford, Johnson, Bush 1, and probably Bush 2 and Clinton all know the basics of what happened in Dealy Plaza, and yet nothing was ever done, fact is not all the documents in their entirety have been released! The cover each others arse, just so they will be covered in the future.

Remember that everything the left says or does is a projection of what they will do. The charges that Reagan thru Iran/contra armed Osama BinLaden, fair charge or not, I think the present regime is arming the next hundred Bin Laden's.

Dmorris: ALL of the biggies in nixons admin went to jail except for Nixon. Mitchell was the attorney general for chrissake. Haldeman and ehrlichman were nixons very closest aides during the day and colson was nixons confidant very often in the evenings and afternoons. Dean was his legal counsel. They ALL did time.

In the case of Obama - assuming what beck is hypothesis is true, panetta, patraeus, holder, Clinton (whose husband apparently has already retained legal counsel for), axelrod, jarrett all could be indictable. And with Romney in power prosecution would almost certainly happen.

The consternation and dismay that any impeachment would cause would likely have that action put aside. The United States would bleed.

Beck tonight "confirmed" Newt Gingrich's rumour from last night.

2 huge media outlets, one a network, the other unspecified, Beck says is in possession of the emails from the White House ordering the stand down in Benghazi. Beck says this is very well sourced.

Beck is telling these outlets to release the emails or he will expose them.

Glenn Beck has put forth a reasonable explanation for the actions of the POTUS, in respect of Benghazi.

Given, the "Obama-Nation's(tm)" past schtick on the Fast and Furious file, Beck's theory on Benghazi is that it is "Fast and Furious" writ large on the geopolitical arena.

Notably, no one is buying the ridiculous Mo video detractor that the Administration tried to trot out for the last number of weeks.

The Administration is demonstrably trying to brazen it out till election day; resolutely refusing to answer on Benghazi.

Any military person familiar with special ops will recognize that you don't laser designate a target, which will betray your position, unless you know that you have the shot. It didn't come so the POTUS invariably told the AC-130 to STAND DOWN.

The situation room in the WH had a live video feed on Benghazi via drone, and Tyrone and Glenn defied the order and rescued approximately 30 personnel.

What the Congressional investigation should determine is what weapons, and to whom were they ferried to, via the operations in Benghazi. Will that come in time for the election, is open to question. This is dependent on those within government operations who are willing to take a stand and blow the Administration's cover story.

I am willing to guess that there a few more honest souls who would be willing to divulge their knowledge of the affair, if the rot truly goes to the very top.

If Glenn Beck has got the goods and the networks don't step up to the plate then let him figuratively 'pull the trigger' on the documentation.

Then the electorate will see what kind of "Franken-government" is burbling below the newspaper front fold.

This video is not from today. It is at least from two weeks ago. But his research has been extensive and accurate right up to the minute of this video. Since then, Fox has picked it up with reporting by Katherine Herridge and Jennifer Griffin.
The UK Independent had the basic story of the attack six weeks ago.
Glenn Beck, as in this video fleshed it out about two weeks ago. The Katherine Herridge appeared on Huckabee on Sat. night. His show on the weekend is repeated several times.
She was very careful in her exact reporting and concluded by saying that we should not be surprised if this story 'involved weapons movements'. The main stream is getting close but they have yet to get it all.
Beck has it all and so does Doug Hagmann over at Canada Free Press.
The basic story seems to be that Libya's Arab Spring and Egypts were initiated by Obama to assist the Muslim Brotherhood to take over Egypt and Libya.
Word is HE ordered Benghazi. Which is why they refused assistance.
And THAT IS impeachable and you can add High Treason ( a HANGING offense) to that charge.
It is THAT bad and that low.
Tonight's revelations directly implicate the State Department, who it has been found refused on Aug 16 sufficient security.
Newt was on Hannity with that news and so was Jason Chavitz with Greta.
Leon Panetta has said he refused assistance. The prez says he ordered they be helped. IF true, which it isn't, Leon Panetta and Hilary stand to be hung out to dry. Let's see how Billy Boy handles THAT.

Clinton was impeached, Reagan underwent a massive and very public investigation on iran/contra. And that was while they were still in power. All of the investigations were concluded before their terms ended. And yes the prosecutions of all those involved save Nixon happened after he had left office. But the precedent is that these investigations ran their course regardless of whether or not that administration was still in power. And I doubt very much that the romney administration will stand in the way of the process.

Clinton WAS INDEED impeached, but was not removed. I would note that "Weepy" was not SOH back then. Had he been, I doubt they would have even STARTED impeachment proceedings. So barring that, who do you expect to prosecute? DoJ? After the fine job they have done with F+F and the REST of the gun-running in direct violation of ITAR? And if not them, then WHO?

I will be nail biting Tuesday night, if O is re-elected, I'll be pressing my MP to tighten up border security, I can foresee O running guns here to the usual suspects (Mohawk Warriors, biker gangs, Muslim extremists {oxymoron}) and when violence escalates here, he'll have a reason to slap us down, and rid his vision of America of one of its best allies.

They may have already run those guns or other weapons, Al the fish. Or do you honestly believe that the BATFE Field Divisions in Boston, Chicago, Detroit, St. Paul, and Seattle would have willingly been left out of the fun?
