In short, it seems President Obama has been engaged in gun-walking on a massive scale. The effect has been to equip America’s enemies to wage jihad not only against regimes it once claimed were our friends, but inevitably against us and our allies as well. That would explain his administration’s desperate and now failing bid to mislead the voters through the serial deflections of Benghazigate.

The clowns in DC let these people die. They did not provide them adequate security. They removed their embassy and consulate security in August 2012. They left them in Benghazi without adequate security.

They left these State Department employees in Benghazi to die without security. These men did their job and the United States abandoned them to die. These men died as heros even though their own government abandoned them.

A week after the incident the Administration was still trotting out the ridiculous farce about some half baked video.

Of course this ignores more than 230 violent incidents logged over the previous 11 months, with 30 around Benghazi. Notably, the British Ambassador was attacked and the British had an MOU to leave their vehicles in the American compound as they were the last western flag in Benghazi.

The State Dept clearly dropped the ball and possibly the White House dropped the ball. Let the 'buck stop' where it well and truly deserves.

The Administration is playing the 'obfuscate and distract' game; but any thinking observer would see this for what it is: The Administration engaged in 'supervised neglect' and is now desperately trying to shovel this pile of camel dung onto the nearest scapegoat at hand, hoping that the malodorous wafts will dissipate before election day.

The Administration has out and out lied about the state of it's knowledge of the events surrounding Benghazi. They made an ideological decision to suppress the truth, regardless of the cost to their own staffers and security personnel.

Even with this knowledge, the Americans will still vote in Obama - just like in Alberta who voted in the Conservative Party of Alberta ... even though they had the chance to put in the Wild Rose Party in office. Apparently they have already tried to break promises to Albertans about "Severance Pay" if they get voted out in four years - if there is an Alberta economy left.

In a next week or so, Obama will have a crisis in the USA and claim a victory over the problem ... just to get votes, so the American voters will forget about this tragedy. He needs a crisis/war/diaster now to have people trust him - I only hope it does not cost lives.

Perhaps now the US Government will let the producer of that video free ... Note: I have not seen it, yet it is the only excuse they have had in the past to say it was the producers fault and not the Obama administration. I think the answer to 'Why the video story?' is also rooted in the credo 'never let a crisis go to waste'. The progressives do not want free speech; punishing the man responsible for the video sets a precedent for next time and the time after that, and so on.

What did I say about Krauthammers analysis of this situation in that interview, whether nuanced or on purpose that man has done more to rid America hopefully, of the Gypsies in the White House than anyone. Completely off topic, but it would appear that the big news that Donald Trump will release later today is that Michelle Obama filed for divorce in 2000 and he has the documents. Trump has been married and divorced more times than most of us have, so I think he realizes that a straightforward divorce should not be a major problem for a politician.

Why the video lie? While others have touched on 1st and 2nd amendment aspects of this I have a different take.

Given the protests in Cairo earlier in the day the Obama brain trust ( I know...oxymoron...) attempted to conflate the two incidents. The fact that there was no demonstration in Bengazi was irrelevant to them. The thinking here seems to be that average Jane/Joe American couldn't or wouldn't differentiate between the two events and a compliant MSM would perpetuate the obfuscation. And they did. Remember how the focus of the story quickly became Mitt's comments regarding the Cairo Embassy's press release? OOHH look something shiny!

Obama's Rose Garden comments focused almost exclusively on the situation in Egypt with Bengazi tacked on as a logical extension of the ongoing events in Cairo.

Obama, as he arrogantly tends to do, underestimated the reach of the new media and Fox News. It remains to be seem if he calculated correctly on the intelligence of the average American voter.
