About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

Oh, Oh is right. I think something is going to hit the fan even if MSM tries to bury it.
The MSM is most certainly going to bury it but so will the Obama administration. They'll declare that they were 'working on it'; that such increased security would have required 'extensive planning' and 'the commitment and permission of the Libyan government'..and on and on and on.
And hope that the mass audience of the mass media will rapidly forget it. Or, blame any reports on these events on that 'radical FOX news'.
The MSM will bury it, but I'll bet it will be in a lot of campaign ads, followed by a clip of Obama stating "I bear responsibility for everything, to some degree".
Sean Hannity said he was expecting something...
Liar Liar..
"Or, blame any reports on these events on that 'radical FOX news'."
That's being kind. One common trait among Obamanauts is a complete and impenetrable world view that filters out just about anything that could be damaging to their deity. Nothing will dissuade them from their mission. The same thing is happening here. Friends of mine that are still active lefties have become thoroughly annealed to argument and will deflect any attempt to reason with them. Some are becoming quite violent really, even though they are self-avowed pacifists! We are dealing with a mass psychosis unlike anything ever seen before.
The families of the fourmmurdered Amaericans must be outraged there has been no proper medical examination to determine cause of death, to verify the stories that the Ambassador was sodomized and knowing the White House and the State Department both refused requests for proper security must really be devastating.
An open inquiry is needed . .. For the sake of the mothers of four murdered American citizens.
Yup. No mention on CNN or the BBC.
Didn't happen.

The dean of foreign affairs reminds us of a time when we had a few grown ups in the White House.
Siren on Drudge.
Actually, CNN's Blitzer is talking about it at 5:00 pm, but we'll see if it gets on to the key news hours later on.
It's not on CNN Internet that I've seen.
Like "Fast & furious, obamas gun deals with Mexican bandits. This too will be submerged. Even the Libyans said they had warned the State Department. The American press is so in love with their Communist , Muslim, Messiah,.Truth is now outlawed, while lies are planted to allow this poisonous fruit to flourish. The unmentionable sin of the 21st century is honesty in all its guises to preserve Liberty. While those who engage in it are considered mad. Treason by any other name is the American media of this age.
Lies are thier medium of communication, falsehood their currancy
Sad to see The land of the Free and the Home of the Brave reduced to this by uncaring caretakers (the gument people) and to witness citizens turning their backs to Lady Liberty by demanding no removals in the 'caretaker' dept. Where are the Patriots? Help the lovely lady who has given all of us so much, do not let her die from wounds and distress.
I'm betting good money on it being a setup.
Any takers?
define:
a) good money
b) set up
Well ain't that just 'scat-tastic' when the proverbial 'shiyte hits the fan'. The distinct odor of camel dung cigarettes is wafting from the White House.
Given the antics on "Fast and Furious" I wouldn't put it past this "Choomer in Chief" to be all bonged out while the security briefing and requests were being discussed.
Have a nice election...

If there's any hope that the great unwashed hear about this, Romney MUST bring it up in the debates.
(My apology to those who don't bathe regularly.)
I understand Carney was weaseling about it today at a press meeting.. claimed he couldn't answer, cause he didn't know... bull.
The whole Libya Action has always been between the EU/ UN & US State. The Murder of our Ambassador was a betrayal by the EU/UN operatives in Libya running the Terrorists.. The answer in Libya will be found at the EU/UN.
US State & other UN operatives ran the Egypt “Planned” nonsense. No Marines, No one harmed, Paid Demo.. The Video was a setup & intended to be blamed. Obama & Clinton played turd roles...Attack on the 1st amendment!
Gee I thought that diplomats were supposed to lie for their country, and leave the dying to the military.
Strange world.
ET, "They'll declare that they were 'working on it'; that such increased security would have required 'extensive planning' and 'the commitment and permission of the Libyan government'..and on and on and on." No doubt!
The administration could have received the permission and had good size Seal team in there within 24 hours . Eh, sasquatch, whatcha think?
We know the Marines in the Egyptian embassy did not have live ammo when the mob hoisted the black flag there.
We know the AIRFIELD in Benghazi was attacked by around 15 guys who managed to blow up six Harrier jump jets and "damage" two more. So clearly nothing like enough force on hand there, or else they were all playing X-Box. Then of course the ambassador got waxed, so that was mega-fail.
So what we have here looks to me like Vietnam Redux. Stupid b@st@rds in the White House micromanaging the guys on the sharp end, not to win a war, but to get the best headlines.
Which seems idiotic, given they can get any headline they want with a phone call.
Phantom, it was Camp Bastion AQ attack in Afghan where the Harriers were destroyed.
Anyway it was clear to me (ie - should have been clear to intelligence/executive) soon after the Bengazi attack was that it was an AQ operation and was revenge for the drone killing of AQ #2 in Lybia.
AQ used the 9/11 date for this revenge attack, not for its significance alone, but also as cover for blame by at least facilitating embassy attacks on the same day. This smells of a coordinated set of actions rather than a coincidence.
The Obama admin either fell for this feint or used it to cover their mishandling of the affair. If they were indeed warned beforehand and concluded security was sufficient, then Romney better use it in the debate, as long as he can back it up. Perhaps we'll get an "Obama tell" then.
Romney could also remind the President his beloved Bill Clinton and his Sec of State, Madelaine Albrite were also warned vociferouosly prior to the AQ Nairobi embassy bombing and concluded security was sufficient there too. That mistake cannot be repeated.
Perhaps Mr Romney should explain to Mr Obama that leaders are supposed to learn from those types of mistakes, not repeat them, and/or blame others.

"The administration could have received the permission and had good size Seal team in there within 24 hours ."
Not familiar with SEAL protocol but if the neccessary operators were present in...say Germany....perhaps 24 hours...more likely 36-48. Most airtransport is already commited and would need re-assignment.....a lot of new orders to be cut.....the problem is not so much hardware as aircrews.....then attending to the original commitment....the military is extremely ponderous and inflexible.
The key ingrediant is not flexibility or response times but rather timely intelligence and decision making to allow proper planning.
The US mission in Bengazi was a cluster-f**k right off the hop. The Canadian decision visa-vis Tehran was more professional.
Shamrock you are correct sir, my bad. I had thought it happened in Libya due to casually hearing about it on the radio while not paying attention.
Linkage.

Funny how you have to be very specific to dig that up on google. Funnier how none of the usual outlets have any hits for that event, given that its the most aircraft destroyed at one go since forever.
Phantom check this out:

lots of rape to go around, all sides of this war r raping men, women and children. Everyone fleeing to Turkey refugee camps.
Very Horrible.
doug, nothing new with that, as it has been going since Adam and Eve's children started fighting amongst themselves. It was only in the 19th century that military leadership seriously tried to discourage looting and raping.
To my knowledge, the Soviets in 1945 were the only government that officially suggested their troops rape and loot in conquered areas of Germany. The Japanese military authorities encouraged or at least stood aside as their troops looted, raped and burned Nanking.
