About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

And so Romney should. Running for president naturally shows disdain for the incumbent and is intended to. Chris Matthews shows psychophancy worthy of a Stalin toady.
"Tingles" is an ass-hat of the first order. Agent of influence, on MSNBC, which is one of the propaganda orgains of the O'bummer administration. It is fun to watch him get schooled on various video clips..Even more disgusting than Soledad . on CNN.
organs.dummy
Chris Matthews wants an anointing not an election.
How could anyon dare to run against the messiah of America.
we now have Chris Tingles...we used to have Bugs Bunny
Do people actually 'watch' him??
Now that sends a shiver up my back.
Matthews is a second-stringer to Ed Schulz. I used to watch Schultz for the entertainment value, constantly wondering how anyone could be so stupid. And realizing that he actually believes what he says makes it all even more hilarious. I've now turned to PJ Media for much more subtle - and well-directed humour.
Yeah, "street" is what I always look for in a president... Much more important than competence, decency, or honesty.
I know he is exhibiting all the signs of dementia, but couldn't the folks at MNSBC at least dress him properly.
I bet even Obama finds Matthews' star-crossed love for him creepy.
Actually, no.
NME666 @8:57 - I resent that comparison. (You realize this means war.)
And there's nothing that says "street" like a Hawaiian prep school background.
As wacky at Matthews can be, Hannity also seems to be losing it.
He can interrupt and rand with the best of them, but lately seems factually challenged.
I'm sure the tingles man convinced all 7 residents of the local trailer park who watch his show, that everyone on the planet is an inferior intellect to the empty chair occupying the oval office.
- those of us who live without inhaling the partisan flatulence which aids Chris Tingle in living in his little pink delusion, know petty ad hominem critique when we hear it - and we can smell the fear on partisan hacks like Tingles when they must grasp at pointless minutiae to admonish the opposition.
Disdain, Chris?
Would you like to see some disdain, Chris? Because I can show you disdain, Chris, oh boy, can I show you disdain...
Tingles exists in an echo chamber hearing only his own voice....
Nobody other than his kindred souls will appear on his show. No-one will subject themselves to getting shouted down by a moron.
Because there is no pleasure to be had in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.
That has to approach the stupidest conversations I have ever heard. Shouldn't these people be just a bit ashamed of how petty and shallow they are sounding. Apologies to teenage girls everywhere but they sound like teenage girls.
"Running for president naturally shows disdain for the incumbent"
Yes. *Disdain = Racism* in the Democratic Dictionary.
This line of thinking is why the Dems couldn't have primaryied Obama and replaced him with a better candidate who had a chance of winning.
Chris Matthews is obviously too angry to think straight.
The implication that those who oppose Obama are motivated by racism is a smokescreen to cloud the fact that his policies are extreme-left-wing and destructive.
And again: "you're a racist" is the only "argument" the left has.
Who is this turd who speaks as though I wanted his opinion?
set you free, your comparison of Chris Matthews to Sean Hannity is itself 'off the wall.' Get serious.
"And there's nothing that says 'street' like a Hawaiian prep school background." (andycanuck)
...and the SARONG. (I guess it depends on WHICH street:)
Anybody who runs for president thinks she/he can beat the other guy. How come it's arrogance for Romney but not Hillary?
In my encounters over the years, people with 'pig eyes' (ie: Matthews) often have a similar intellect.
In my encounters over the years, people with 'pig eyes' (ie: Matthews) often have a similar intellect.
“he clearly has no street about him at all.”
That's good news. Apart from whites who wannabe black, nobody has any respect for "street": lack of education, violent and drug addicted.
But Tingles, I thought audacity was a GOOD thing...
"Most of the folks here" as Obama lamely reiterates, obviously haven't read the free copy of Macleans that recently came in the mail.
"Gone is the high-minded rhetoric of four years ago. BO is now the common man....more blah blah....and it just may be working"
That puff piece makes Chris Matthews look like a paragon of balance.
One Story has it that Matthews spent his childhood in Pittsburgh, PA.. That is one tough neighborhood for a guy that loves man-meat. He speaks in a very low voice when in the street. "Come on MEN.. Lets roll". He can’t control his tingles.
The other Story about Matthews is that he wasn’t actually hired by NBC, more like he was found latched into the groin area of (Chuckles) Gregory. Chuckles couldn’t take the “Met the Press” desk with the obscene growth and Matthews was born in a back ally abortion.
Pick one or both
So Romney is too arrogant to be president because he thinks he can beat Obama; he's too confident - and there's something wrong with that.
Obviously that makes him a racist, it can't be anything else, because they've been against him since his inauguration; at about the same time he started his orgy of porkbarrel spending, when he passed a massive unfunded actuarial liability onto small business and governments, and about the same time he started his attempt to move the American political culture left of Cuba.
How can anyone be against the greatest administration since Lincoln (Obama's words)? Well, unless they're a racist, aka Republican.
Personally I think Obama should be really easy to beat. I guess that makes me a racist, though I think it's because Obama has been a very weak president who, besides taking America to the debt cliff at precisely the wrong time, has dropped the ball on many action items including the BP spill and his abysmal handling of the ME situation, characterized by appeasement and naiviety.
I'm surprised Romney's not mopping the floor with him, electorally speaking. Oh I hope that wasn't too racist!
I can't get past the fact Matthews appears to always have slobber getting ready to drop from his lower lip.
One could dedicate an entire blog to the rabid, asinine pronouncements of Chris Matthews. He has long lost touch with reality. One day I expect his head to actually explode on camera, no doubt creating a sizable ratings spike, and we'll be done with him.
