What We Really Need Is Democracy

To begin with, how is Israel supposed to 'settle' with Hamas, an organization/government which refuses to recognize Israel's existence?

I have a problem with them being labelled conservatives when they are really theocrats.
Totalitarian theocrats.
They aren't conservative at all.
Conservatives are small government, fiscally prudent and socially reasonable.
That's not the MB.

Egypt is going the way of most African Democracies.

One man, One Vote, ONCE.

Morsi will take his cue from the Iranians and set up bureaus to monitor and vet candidates. Only approved candidates will be allowed to run. The elections will be scrupulously fair and everyone will have the right to vote. But the allowed candidates will be a choice between Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. Anyone that does not meet the requirements just gets his candidacy rejected.

They have already pulled this during the last election and Morsi was a last minute replacement for the original MB candidate who was disqualified.

Political pundits are saying Hilary Clinton is the favored Democrat Presidential candidate for 2016. In the next three years after the disaster of the Arab Spring is apparent even to the most obtuse, there is no way that she will be able to be elected dog catcher.

Heckuva job, Hilary! We are really glad that Mubarak was deposed. He was almost as bad as the Shah, what with peace treaties with Israel and a mildly pro-American stance. We cannot have regimes friendly to the US in the mideast. Now Islamic Radical Democracy can flourish in Egypt too, just like Iran.

The new Iran is shaping up nicely.

I expect to see a news brief along these lines in the not too distant future-

"Obama's 'Muslim outreach' initiative began to take shape with the new Egyptian government this week. In response to an Egyptian request for a better understanding of rocket launch systems, Obama has ordered a team of NASA experts to 'get them up to speed'..."

You'd think they won an election or something.
