Sad as it may be, our Justice Industry is steering us to the same place. Several self defense cases of late indicate so. It will be interesting to see how the latest CPC Legislation enhancing self defense and citizen arrest work out.
I will be surprised if the industry abides by it.

Canada is no better. This weekend I read about a case in the Toronto area where a man and his wife returned home to find an intruder in the house and in his mother's bedroom. The man had grabbed a kitchen knife, confronted the intruder and got into a fight whereby he stabbed the intruder. His case is now in trial. Here is hoping Harper can change the law.

When queried by a Canada Customs officer at the Peace Bridge recently I was asked, do you have any weapons in your car. Answer, no. When asked if I possessed any weapons at home I told him I had a complete arsenal including AR-15's and an AK-47 and multiple handguns and enough ammo to last out a full war. He asked me if crime was that bad that I needed all that and I told him that self defense was not the reason for my personal arsenal.
