Constructed by Gulf Marine Fabricators in Ingleside, Texas, the $100-million VB 10,000 is a heavy-lift catamaran that mounts a pair of massive lift gantries atop a pair of barges. Perhaps massive is a bit of an understatement. Each gantry measures 240-feet tall and weighs 3,400 tons—or about as much as the Ben Franklin Bridge in Pennsylvania.

I needed a few extra CLE hours and signed up for a discussion on voter ID laws. Unbeknownst to me, it was put on by a "progressive" group, and it was a scene, man. Every excuse in the book to run down the proposed law (Minnesota) and no answers to pointed questions (dead voters, multiple voters, etc.) The best moment was an old gent who said, essentially, "I'm amazed that the woolen who want to regulate everything are so opposed to an extra voting rules."

If Lacroix is convinced that the CBC is central to Canada's "democratic way of life," it's clear that he's delusional and living in a bubble of delirium. The CBC's broke and has about 6% of the Canadian viewer share, on top of which they're fleecing the Canadian taxpayer of $1.16 billion a year.
The CBC's the first place I think of when I contemplate government waste -- not when I'm thinking of Canada's democratic way of life or our national experience.

LAS, don't panic. The polls in Ohio are skewed and the fact is that state is either tied or real close to tied. The same for Florida and Virginia. I agree that Romney needs Ohio and Florida to win (and probably Virginia), but he can win those states. In 1980 Reagan was about the same in the polls in September then as Romney is now.
Rush this morning has confirmed that the Obama Phone is true. The site is down thanks to this revelation and the attention it got from the Blaze as well.

Why can't skewed polls explain the alleged lead? Dick Morris , one of te few commentators who actually has run a winning Presidential campaign - Clinton 1996 - said Romney is pulling ahead in his most recent column on Tuesday.
The Democrats are running a scam, trying to depress turn out of what they consider marginal Mitt Romney voters with the active participation of the media, who are running poll samples with larger proportions of Democrats than that seen in the last election. Ain't gonna happen; the polls, and allegations of an Obama lead are fictitious.
