That is scary!! He is given a completely open ended question allowing him to explain why God is no longer in the platform, and all he can do is accuse the questioner of having an agenda. It has been years since I have seen ANY politician asked a truly open question, and he could not take it. The pre-arranged "vote count" would have been funny if it had been in a Monty Python skit. At 0:14 he was ready to declare what he had been told to declare, and then he decided they needed to try again. Even a show of hands would have been better than that shout-down contest. What can you expect from a party that substitutes "protesting" for thinking? And what was that lady saying about "let them do what they're gonna do" at 0:47? Is that the delegates or the Almighty Ones Who Have Already Decided? Maybe that explains the shouting match. With no votes to count, they can declare whomever they want to be the winner. Votes are like facts; they should never get in the way of What Must Be Done.

Let's not be too naive here. The Democrats have lots of experience rigging votes. Why would we assume they are above cheating their own, let alone the rest of us?

∞ ≠ ø: not quite. Platforms are subjected to focus group tests. What most likely happened was that their researchers discovered that the exclusions were extremely unpopular with those who are not Democrat voters, and The Machine decided they had to go back in at all costs.

The original version with the exclusions was at least honest, in that it's what the Party genuinely wanted. Not it's not.
