More Pavilions At Folkfest

NP;

Demonstrations over a controversial anti-Muslim film will be coming to Toronto this weekend.

The Muslim Congress and Canadians Against Blasphemy have called for peaceful protests beginning at 2:30 p.m. Saturday across from the American consulate on University Avenue. Similar protests are also planned in Washington D.C., Houston and Los Angeles.

“We urge believers of all faiths and people to come out and express their opposition to the vulgarity, hate mongering, lies and insult of sacred beliefs that hurt sentiments of all believers in monothesim [sic]” says a flyer being distributed to announce the protest.

Wear your best t-shirt.

Canadians Against Blasphemy?

Do they support Catholics and Buddhists fried over Buddha statues in people's gardens?

I hope so.

I doubt that anyone wearing a shirt with the image of the chief pedophile will be allowed (by the police...) to be within view of that crowd. We'll know in a few days. Perhaps from Arnie / Kathy risking their lives and taking a video..

Maybe they are protesting the killing of the gay American ambassador in Lybia?

The religion of peace must be most offended by the hate mongers that defamed their religion with violence.

One of the disadvantages of living in the southern interior of BC is that I no longer have the ability to mock moonbats when they demonstrate. When living in Vancouver, I'd wear my "peace through superior firepower" T-shirt when the mob of useful idiots would stage their annual "peace" demonstrations. Likely because I was considerably larger than the emaciated moonbats, all I ever got were dirty looks from them as I walked through their ranks.

If I happened to be in Toronto this weekend I would make a point of wearing the T-shirt from the Danish cartoons as well as my steel toed boots. I have the right to walk where I want on public streets and have little use for police who attempt to violate my charter rights. Ideally, one would have a group of individuals wearing this T-shirt, or other copies of the Danish cartoons on their chests, while walking their dobermans or pit bulls which is a perfectly legal activity when I last looked. For snack food, bring pork rinds.

Time to show the muzzie scum why we have dogs.

Loki, Knew I liked ya' right away.

Pat

You know, Allah can't be much of a supreme being if all it takes to offend him is a few nasty comments about his head prophet and a two-bit, unbelievably amateur Youtube video. Christians, Hindus, Sikhs would all just laugh this off and go about their business.

Will they be protesting Bill Maher's movie Religulous too?

Whoops. Forgot. He's a liberal, so he gets a free pass on offending anyone.

How about this

"militant lesbians for mohamed"

I'd pay good money to watch the reaction of the usual punditry.

The Obama Hollywood Script keeps going even after “it” resulted in the killing of our Ambassador. The Ambassador represented America and every American MUST avenge his killing...Muslims don't have a choice anymore

Actually, demonstrations against the film are fine.

But that's not the problem, and never was.

The problem is the murderous violence.

Gives me an idea for a parade slogan:

"Mount a lesbian".

I dunno, could mean anything.

Dont forget to bring your German Sheppards and your pet Vietnamese pot bellied pigs to the Don't diss Mo' Fest.

For added fun, dress the little critters up like the prophet! Little doggy beards and piggy turbans are a great ice breaker for meeting new friends in the park! For those of you talented with a sewing machine, how about little mock suicide vests for Bowser?

The fun never stops at the Mo'-fest! Don't miss the sing along which will include that timeless song of the struggling jihadis, "Give Peace a Chance-Or We'll Cut Your @#$%& Heads Off".

I trust Kathy Shadle will send my love as I cannot attend.

Loki, look at the video of what happened to the Jewish guy who attended the last big protest in Toronto with his BIG dog.
He was struck by a demonstrator but the police were all over him because HE was the problem.
In the eyes of City Hall, if the Muzzies at the demonstration are offended (or even could be offended) you will be removed from the scene.

I think I'll make a bit of money by selling online T-shirts with MO IS DEAD on the front and JESUS IS ALIVE on the back.

If I went to that demonstration I'm pretty sure I'd end up in jail for head-butting some Lefty. Sorry, not worth it.

Can I bring my dog?

Sounds like a perfect time to use Kate's "don't pick sides.Pray for an asteroid"

Are these "Canadians against Blasphamy" disturbed about Blasphamy against the Christian, Jewish or other religions? Or is this just more lefty intolerance disguised as inclusive activism.

Eskimo
Good one, You made me spew coffee!

How about Pat Condell with a megaphone as guest speaker!

I hope there ARE some protesters against the protesters. And if they are in great enough numbers, will wear Mohammed-T shirts.

If we don't challenge these SOB's now, as their numbers increase and their political influence grows, it will become impossible to do anything to offend them.

Canada needs a politician who will make the speech that Australian pol did a few years back, where it was mentioned that we "built this Country without you",and if you don't like our ways, are welcome to go back home.

Otherwise, it is inevitable that the Muslims will hold power in government here some day,and Sharia law will be enforced. It'll probably take fifty years, which isn't long in the scheme of things.

Funny, no mention of protests here in Dallas.

I think they know we would play "Cowboys and Muslims" down here...

It should be noted that protesting against a film and protesting for government censorship are not one and the same. As long as it's the former, there's no fault.

When are "Canadians Against Blasphemy" going to be protesting against the multitude of anti-Catholic movies/tv shows/music/books that appear just about every day? Yup, didn't think so....

If anyone has an opposing view to Barbara Falk about her affinity with an avowed terrorist.......let her know about it.

Never again includes allowing Islamofascists to dictate our freedoms, what kind of people protest offending a dead guy.

Rabble?

Rabble?

RABBLE?

Are you @#$%& high or what?

"'Many people feel disempowered in the current political processes in Canada and want to make a statement that is a visible way of expressing their opinion,' Compton says on her website."

What, did someone take away their right to vote?

We have a democracy as long as we can elect representatives into government. That's it.

Will the Queers for Palestine be there?
