Quite so. I am astonished by the media's handling of this election. My work colleague, who escaped Yugoslavia under very exciting (if it were a movie) circumstances, agrees that this is how the media work under Communism. They attack the opposition.

The attack on Romney was just so far out in left field to be almost humourous. The MSM missed the whole point and end up looking like fools but they are the ones who do the reporting, so they hide it.

The earlier comment about how "journalists" operate under a Communist Dictatorship is both insightful and critically important.

During the 2008 American Presidential Election, it was very clear that "journalists" were very much pulling for Obama, both by publishing lies and through obfuscation. Then the "journolist" scandal erupted.

I submit that in 2012 it's even worse. It's so bad that if Obama had a prominent Rabbi and a Catholic Priest strung up on crosses on the White House lawn, *his* media would either ignore the story or explain it away. Then if Romney dared criticize this action, the media would only focus on what Romney said for weeks.

I wish I were exaggerating but I don't believe I am.

We are watching an economic superpower in retreat with a President who wants his own Country in dissolution. A citizenry in denial if not subconsciously impotent like the English as the British Empire crumbled. Having a death wish, addicted to others work & money.

On a separate Fox program that also had Kristen Powers on it ( she is a Democrat pundit who once dated Anthony Wiener…an interesting story there) and she seems to have had an epiphany ( becoming a neo-con like Roger Simon?) as she criticizes the media’s reaction to attacking Romney versus asking where was the POTUS and what are his answers on what is going on in the ME.

Powers suggests about the media…do they even care about what was actually unfolding in front of their eyes in the ME; instead of caring about the crisis you see the outrage from the media that the POTUS has been insulted while humans being murdered is secondary.

It seems that group-think progressives in the media are totally obsessed with process in the campaigns versus dealing with the reality of acts of war. But that’s what utopianism is all about….anything but deal with the real world. Our media and academia are tribes, not beheading anyone but very dangerous nevertheless. So before we criticize why Egypt hasn’t turned into Denmark after an election we need to look closer to home for tribal behaviour like these media types who have targeted Romney about process versus whether or not he was right or wrong in his judgment calls; it’s classic apparatchik behaviour.

Kristen Powers is a liberal who is really worried about liberal bias in the media….kudos to her.

The only way the media bias stops is by boycotting them. For some of the biased media, the only traffic or sales they get is conservatives checking to see their latest bias. Boycott, tune them out, spread the word. It is the only way they will stop.

Kirsten Powers has had the blinders lifted from her eyes. Just watched her this morning on Fox and she is getting more and more disgusted with the administrations lying and obfuscating on the ME. I've now forgiven her for her misguided dating of Anthony "the idiot" Weiner. Just so we're clear, the US government and debt grew more under GWB than any other US president. He increased the size and scope of the US government radically. And Romney is proposing an increase in the military. (Psst. The military is part of the government, and so increasing its size is increasing the government.)
