Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

Blood-sucking parasites?
Are you sure this isn't the Quebec election thread?
Thanks for the first unsolicited laugh of the week!
So what yer sayin' is that the bed bugs are so bad many Dems went home and so the DNC has moved Obambam's speech from the 74,000 seat stadium to a 20,000 seat theatre?
Makes more sense than the bogus thunderstorm in three day scenario the DNC is now kiting.
.....and the class warfare meme continues at the DNC slumfest.
This sounds like a Teamsters convention, not a national "wrap yourself in the flag" event.
Jimmy Hoffa might make an appearance.....
Does Michelle's inability to pronounce the letters 'st' together stem from an Ebonics based education?
Her best line so far has been "my brother and I would watch our dad, who had MS, drag his way slowly up the stairs to greet us and give us a hug after a long day at work". Geez, fatass, you ever think he might have wanted some assistance?
Ok, this is the place. The dems have given us another gift to go with "you didn't build that" It is "we belong to the government" Romney has it on his face book page and has tweeted about it too. The dems have responded with we didn't make that video (with the quote) the host city did. However they put the video out there. Pass the pop corn.
Love it "We didn't make that video", the host city (read gov't) did. At least they are sticking to their theme.
Bedbugs are another reason I avoid large cities. Still have memories I can't expunge of some of my E. Hastings patients who would walk into my office crawling with bedbugs and, if there's one good thing that can be said about bedbugs, it's that they hate the light. Most of the bugs would scurry inside the patients clothes and I have to admit I did some rather perfunctory exams and closely checked the exam room for bedbugs after the patient had left.
My biggest nightmare living in downtown Vancouver was that bedbugs would invade my apartment which was up there with shooting home invaders and then trying to figure out what to do with the bodies in an apartment building. Fortunately, despite the sea of red dots that made up the W. end of Vancouver in the online bedbug site, my building never made it onto the infested list. I've looked up how to synthesize DDT and, if the bedbugs show up in my neighborhood, I'll be prepared.
Getting back to the DNC; couldn't happen to a more deserving group of individuals. Hopefully they'll share the infestation with all their friends.
I bet those delegates are just itching!!!! to get to work, and deal with things that are bugging!!! them. If t by e stay much longer, they'll end up feeling lousy!!! Boy this stuff just writes itself..
Regurg an oldie:
DNC delegate walks into a bar in Charlotte with a duck on his head. Naturally, the bartender says, "What can I get you?"
"Can you help me get this liar off my ass?" replies the duck....
Funny smokers don't get bed bugs. It almost seems like a plague.
Loki "I've looked up how to synthesize DDT and, if the bedbugs show up in my neighborhood, I'll be prepared."
I've considered making my own DDT. My mother would spray the stuff on the windows in the spring and it would kill flies all summer. Great stuff. My mother is 90 so it can't be all that bad for people.
