National Review Online has an interesting article up about how Romney schools Obama on science.
tldr; Romney wins. But don't take my word for it, read what our non-conservative friends at Slate have to say.
But, then, like I said earlier, more special needs than Harvard grad.

Yanks.
Democrat or Republican - they just don't get the science and economy stuff like our Dildo McDinky does.
Oh, and our voters in Vaughan, Ontario get it too.
I mean, it's incoceivable in this day and age that neither 'bama or mitt heard about the Dildo's Green Energy Act: economic salvation and new wave science all in one package.
Love how slate can't help editorializing on climate change answer with the "official" & throughly discredited "OMG the science is settled business."
Yes Slate, the science is settled. Yes Slate, we'll risk fall off the edge of the world. Yes Slate, we're willing to risk the dragons too. No Slate, the boat isn't powered by unicorn farts. No Slate, we're not cancelling the round-the-world trip because of your consensus.
I'll take your word for it, Lance.
Man, I'm of dealing with MSM BS.
Better things to do. ETC.

Good grief. Asking a politician a science question is like asking a 20 year old to make change without using a calculator.
Why do I think John McCain would make a good Walmart Greeter? Stupid A-Hole never had much of a brain to engage. Good thing his wife has the Money!
"Why do I think John McCain would make a good Walmart Greeter? Stupid A-Hole never had much of a brain to engage. Good thing his wife has the Money!"
No, Slap Shot, that'd be John Kerry. (BTW, I wonder if Kerry ever paid the Mass. state tax on his new $10 mil. yacht, or if he's still keeping it berthed out of state to avoid paying the hundred$ of thousand$??? That's Limousine Liberals for you-others, not themselves certainment, should pay higher taxes "for everybody's good".
"Regulation. We must reduce the power of unaccountable regulators by requiring that all major regulations receive congressional approval and by imposing a regulatory cap that prevents the addition of new regulatory costs. In a Romney Administration, agencies will have to limit the costs they are imposing on society and recognize that their job is to streamline and reduce burdens, not to add new ones."
Can you steal this please Mr Hudak......
Something weird is going on here. All of these random acts of journalism are unsettling. What are they up to?
James - why do rats abandon a ship? Any journals/sources that will survive will have to have a sheen of factual reporting.
There is no need for science advisors in the White House. The National Academy of Science is just down the road. And the politicians have the Jasons, if they really need advice.
I was gobsmacked when I saw the word 'science' in a right wing blog until I realized as per usual, the topic is not in support of science but against it. I've always wondered why you rednecks are so against science. Is it too difficult for your inbred brains to comprehend? Does it clash with your 5000 year old earth biblical myth? Very curious about this. For me it's very simple; anything Sarah Palin believes in, I take the opposite view. But I guess for some of you Palin is like Einstein, relatively speaking!
Didn't read the links, eh, Steve?
Lots of science debate online lately, especially after the moron "science guy" Bill Nye's assertions on evolution and his claims that believing in God is an obstacle to science. Nye believes that parents should be prohibited from teaching their children that there is a creator!
Anyway, most of these people have never understood the discipline of material science and its limitations re: metaphysical and philosophical questions, and have never actually studied the material sciences. There's a serious difference between the "popular" science often propagated by the popular media, and genuine evidence-based science.
Doesn't surprise me that Romney would beat Obama in a real science debate -- Romney has probably actually taken a couple real science courses before; whereas Obama has only studied social "science".
It would be nice if someone in the PMO could even spell "science", but that lack seems to be a requirement of the job, whether a Liberal or Conservative Prime Minister runs this country...
"Does it clash with your 5000 year old earth biblical myth? "
Yes Steve, all conservatives believe the earth is only 5000 years old. This alone proves you just spout bs and don't know anything about conservative policies or conservative people.
Even if half of America actually believed the earth was 5000 years old, even if that were true which it isn't, it wouldn't mean one damned thing to the running of the country anyway. You worry about ancient history while the rest of us worry about starving people who can't find jobs and the endless borrowing to support unsustainable programs until the whole western world collapses. You worry about the past while we tend to the future.
