I seem to recall Peter Mansbridge pointing out that Amanda Lang is former liberal ag minister Otto Lang's daughter.
I wonder what her connection to Bryant is? It must be significant or why is she hiding it?

Disappointing that Bryant is out of the slammer and available for interviews. Entirely expected that he's trying to make money out of murder (he's a Liberal, right?), standard operating procedure that friends interview Liberal friends at the CBC.

That's how you get to be an on-screen CBC personality in the first place, having important Liberal friends. What Amanda has been doing to get and keep those friends is perhaps best left unsaid, I'm sure. Though one is tempted to wonder if it involves knee pads.

It will be interesting what O'Leary does with this info. Will he treat her the same as he treats some on Dragons,or will he resign after making a statement about her ethics.

Spike 1- I wouldn't expect anything from O'Leary. He's not stupid. Challenging Lange would end his career on the cbc. She is one of their 'stars'.

I watch the Lnag & O'Leary report on occassion but have trouble stomaching the repartee. Kevin used to give Lang a lot of hastle about her thinking since it was laced with left wing BS. I see now, that he is more often missing when I tune in. It is most definitely a 2nd rate report on business.
