California is just trying to catch up to BC level stupidity.

When they start whacking their hospitals care budgets by extracting carbon taxes like the looney tune BC laws do . . . then we'll know they are in our Big League of eco greenie fruits & nutters stupidity.

Right now . . . just wannbe amateurs.

Wait untilthe BC NDP gets back in power next May . . . the the real stupidity will begin.

Oh the students will get a lesson in economics all right when the cost of their green religion jacks up tuition. How do you feel about that degree in whatever studies now!

I love the smell of burning money in the morning. Smell like... napalm!

It is indeed ironic that they were so wrong about not having enough food to feed an ever growing number of humans, but rather that we ran out of constructive things for all of them to do. So we get all these fat, pampered lemmings coming up with more and more insane ways to make themselves feel needed.

From one commentator..."Watch fir(sic) a rash of university enrollments by Californians IN OTHER STATES!"
Easy fix.I can hear Arizona,Texas, and many others all ready ram[ing up rules to NOT allow Cali's into their secondary school systems.Let them really learn what living in poverty is like.Bonus is,this may kill off a few leftards. Win-win.

Welcome to California, the one-party State. Your State legislature, majority democrats, have your best interest in mind. And if anything should ever go wrong, or be too expensive, we will blame Bush. Problem solved. Dude.

But, but, the US Congress refused to pass Obama's Cap and Trade bill! So, how could California enact Cap and Trade regulations??

Oh, it was Obama's ignoring Congress, setting up his EPA, and having them make the rules outside of Congress? Is that how Obama runs a democratic governance? Oh.

It's easy to take money from the citizens. All you do is say: Since you do X, then you must pay Y.
Since your grass is green, then you must pay some state taxes.
If you ask for a reason for this penalty, then, I'm sure some earnest bureaucrat can come up with an answer. Hmm. Let's see. Oh, grass absorbs water and sunlight and thus 'takes' both away from other entities. So there.

TrueNorthist .... Good insight.

California leads the nation in creating new and innovative methods of taxation. I know, some people may call this extortion, or just another shake down operation, but how else can democrats do what they do so well? I mean raise taxes. RAISE NEW TAXES. It's what democrats do. And California is a democratic state. Dude.

California is a experiment in what happens when drones take over the hive and displaced worker bees flee to greener pastures. When takers look down on makers and social science degrees and basket weaving replace a useful education. When logical thinking takes a back seat to fairy tale indoctrination from professors that have never worked a day in their life and would probably be rejected for employment at Walmart. When the collective rejects all the lessons history has made available to them in favor of worshipping Gaia. When professional activists are in control and lawyers pride themselves in their ability to crush common sense for the almighty dollar. California is a experiment going horribly wrong, yet has full approval of the ruling class. They deserve the future that awaits them.

When the air conditioning goes off for good. How many teachers will stay?California every day it seems now become a mirage State. Its there but becomes dispersive when close to it.
Its only a matter of time before any one sane is left. Than the real fun starts.

California universities are having their budgets cut, so where how will they afford this?

They could turf the diversity sensitivity training for all freshmen of course, or cut back on those hellishly expensive engineering programs.

What to do...

They could cut a lot of emissions by cancelling the USC and UCLA football programs and not have the rose bowl and it's attendant parade...

I think they should put "Check Point Charlies" up on all the major hi-ways out of Commiefornia to see if they can contain this madness. Don't allow enrollment of this taint into other schools.

Infidel .. the TAINT is already in the universities across the USA and Canada.

The California issue is now in the halls of public governance... and in the hands of what sane people might remain in the public to vote out the loons.

Failing that there can only be an exodus of right minded and sensible people to other locals. This is a thing which is already underway as business have been leaving for decades.

The fleas are eating the dog. The dog will soon be dead as the fleas have multiplied by the thousands soon to be millions. When they are done with the dog they are coming for the cats.
That's when the fun starts!
