"the fact checkers have made a mockery of their own profession by stepping all over their own biases to refute Ryan."

Yeah them bozzo's notion of comment is inaccurate quotes.

Not that they care but this is the reason most people now don't trust the media.

It isn't really 'fact checking',it is finding 'nuance' that is not apparent to people like me,and probably you.

This isn't the first time they've been caught playing with their lefticles.

For more insight into how inept/biased the Leftist "fact" checkers are, just look here and here and here.

As I've said before, many of these "fact" checkers don't even care whether or not they're accurate. For every time they write/say something, they muddy the waters about whether Ryan, Romney, and other members of the GOP are speaking truthfully. It's a pure example of highly biased, shoddy "journalism".

That's because it aint journolism .... it's makin stuffupalism. Any relation to actual facts is purely inconveniently needed to help pass off the main part to the gullible.

With regard to the Janesville plant closure, the point Ryan was making was that Obama policies and agenda are pure rhetoric. Empty.

The plant was indeed slated, by GM, for closure in 2008. Remember, at that time, GM was a private company and now taken over by the US government, so to speak. But Obama, campaigning for president, stood in front of that same plant in 2008 and promised that IF he were elected president, then, that plant would remain open for 100 years.

This promise is similar to his oceans ceasing to rise, to his debt reduction by half, to his IF you pass the stimulus unemployment will never go above 8%..and so on.

The point Ryan was making was that Obama is all rhetoric, and rhetoric geared to a singular agenda, to get something from YOU (votes). Whereas, Romney and Ryan are focused not in words but in real actions.

Repeatedly, Ryan kept referring to the gap between words and actions of Obama; that he was essentially slick with the words and promises, but that nothing actual ever happened after he spoke them.

The 'facts' about Ryan's votes are reductionist. They ignore that he voted against the Committee's advice on deficit reduction because it also included raising taxes. The 'fact-checker's' ignore this.

Much of the MSM is doubling down on Obama winning in November. These manifold instances of Shakey fact checking is perfect evidence of that.

This is an extremely risky wager as their favourable reporting of Obama will be seen for what it is: extreme bias if Obama gets defeated by a large margin (my handicapping puts Romney/Ryan at 330) While they will have maintained it as a close race right up until the voting day (which they also did with Reagan carter). Reporters are disliked/distrusted almost as much as members of congress. With a big Romney win they will have become almost completely irrelevant in the political discourse.

I guess Bloomberg et al haven't realized that by publishing lies in their frenzied effort to get Obama re-elected, that they are destroying themselves and their businesses in the process.

The left does not believe in objective proof. Just seeming facts that support their contentions. Like HRCs truth is irrelevant.
Its the message that is content, logical or not. Propaganda was never meant as news , but emotional verbiage that produces feelings instead of cognation.Indeed its whole being is to stop thinking. Its the lefts signature.

FACTCHECK: Sources near the Republican campaign are refuting Paul Ryan's assertion that his playlist starts with AC/DC and ends with Zepplin, citing reports of a playlist beginning with ABBA and ending with Zamfir: Master of the Pan Flute.

...some time later, in a back page footnote...

Correction: The previous article erroneously credited a playlist to the Republican VP candidate, however the playlist in question has been determined to originate from the Democratic VP candidate.

"the fact checkers have made a mockery of their own profession by stepping all over their own biases to refute Ryan."

There are a lot of different names for it: beef whistle, purple-headed yogurt flinger, balogna pony, tube steak, one-eyed spitting serpent, tally whacker, main vein, tonsil tickler, jack-in-the-box, skin flute, wonder worm... but I have never heard it referred to as 'OWN BIAS'.
