Is There Nothing That Obama Can't Do?

After the deadliest single loss of US forces in Afghanistan, Barack Obama sent out form letters to the parents.

What B. Hussien tries to get by the American people in his lame-duck months of november, december 2012 and january 2013 will make this pale.. Hold your nose folks, it's going to stink...

Not that I think this sort of thing is alright either, it does show his distance to empathy.

Many of the comments say Obama has no soul or class and I have to agree. But then that is what you can expect from a socialist. The CinC should write a personal note.

It still stuns me that someone voted (and will vote) for this man.

These letters were signed by Auto-pen, not by Barack. I would not be surprised if Barack never even saw them.

If he had competent staff (from what I've seen in 3-1/2 years, that is not likely), his staff would have taken the time to personalize the letters. The military would have helped them too, as a letter like this could be one of the few things children would have to remember their fathers and realize how special their fathers were.

Instead they get the equivalent of a Dear Current Resident letter. ---- Tone Deaf idiot.

You folks may recall the "scandal" that was Rumsfeld's use of an auto-pen for such letters. His auto-pen use was callous and black-hearted. Now Obama's use of exactly the same instrument for exactly the same purpose isn't newsworthy? Hmm....

Thank you for your son/daughter's service.

Just in case anyone was wondering why the Special Forces community came out with that book about catching Bin Laden right now...

Every time I think I can't feel more contemptuous toward that jug-eared narcissistic fool currently inhabiting the White House, he and/or his minions pull off yet another low-brow, classless, utterly despicable move that makes me realize I'm wrong.

History will not be kind to this president.

i think they failed to mention the autographed used golf balls they sent with the letters.

Well put.

I find this so disturbing...such a dereliction of duty/responsibility.

But then, his life experience lacks the sad experience of so many of us.

Back in the day, I wrote such letters by hand (no typed) just because it was the right thing to do.

The flag guy....that is truly exceptional...inspiring...

Must be his Arab heritage. Civilized armies pay more respect to fallen foes, than this bunch pays to fallen comrades.

If there is no change of govt. - 2012 - in the USA there never will be.
Qualifications vs. No Qualifications to be leading the once great nation.
Voters should have decided by now without even hearing from the Governor tonight.
Speakers so far have been brilliant.

What do you expect from someone who never risked his life for the sake of another human being.
