About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

If all the cemeteries and dogs in "Oiho" vote DemocRat, is the math going to matter all that much?
By the way, read the comments on that article. They're -hilarious-!
I enjoyed this comment:
"If you voted for Obama to prove you’re not a racist in 2008, you’d better vote for Romney in 2012 to prove you’re not an idiot"
Economic reality? He77. They can't even ADD 2+2 without a calculator. But as Phantom says, when(if) the Zero gets back in,the only math they'll need is stones, counting the number of bushels of ethanol bound corn they harvest at the collective.
It never ceases to amaze me that Zero is wearing his own symbol on his lapel. Can anything better represent a cult of personality?
All things being equal, I would expect Hope to beat Math. That is just how far gone the US is.
Tax the rich is just a political ploy for votes. The US spends 10 million dollars a minute; 10 billion dollars a day. If fully implemented tax the rich would fund the US government for a week.
No. That's one reason Obama will be re-elected.
The young are not the biggest problem. Being young, they can start again, and will. Also, they aren't actually that reliable a voting bloc.
The ones truly unprepared for economic reality are their parents (also educated in government owned public schools), who neglected their children's education and refused to spend a thin dime of their own money on it if they had any choice. As far as the boomers were concerned, the care and feeding of the boomers in their old age was the government's problem. Children were merely a nuisance getting in the way of their self-indulgence.
That's why Johnny can't read or add up sums. Johnny's mommy and daddy only had him because abortions cost money in the States, and they would have strangled him in the cradle if they thought they could get away with it. No surprise they couldn't be bothered.
Unfortunately, voting for Obama will not hide the truth of the truly desperate situation the boomers have placed themselves and their children in for much longer. The day is coming when their long-suffering children will have to choose between feeding their own children or delaying dear old Mom and Dad's date in the court of the Almighty.
Forgive me if I don't wish the old fools luck in explaining why they deserve to have more to look forward to in their old age than weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Fortunately, the key marginal public school graduates that can handle answering a phone call regarding their preferred Presidential candidate (when told who they were) have much more difficulty remembering which day is election day or how or where to actually show up somewhere to vote.
Everytime taxes are raised so is spending. The newest scam language these terrorists are using is "revenue neutral" and the dumb eat it up and nod their heads like fools. It's been used very effectively in BC for years.
BamBam's tag should read "DOPE"
Because "CHOOM GANG" doesn't fit on the poster.
Dope and Chains
Any comparison as was done in the comments section, of just one variable, ie, tax rates now and those in the 1960's is statistically false. The other variables must also be examined, such as the cost of living, the deductions, the entitlements available - it's a different reality now.
I think that facts always trump fiction. Obama lives entirely in a virtual world. He has one agenda and it is strictly personal: Power. He wants control over You. He wants to feel your adulation; that makes him feel psychologically secure. That's all there is to Obama. Nothing else.
He's not an intellect; he's not interested in policies; he's not interested in America. He just wants adulation as The Dear Leader. You, on the other hand, are the ignorant, the biased, the ones who need the government to 'make your business'. You are nothing without Him.
But he's embedded within a radical socialist gang, Jarrett et al, who also have one agenda: Power. Their power agenda is different; they want the power to insert a socialist infrastructure into the US. Such a structure sets up an inviolate elite Set, the government, who run the nation as a peasantry and enrich themselves.

Told you they were hilarious. :) I note that not one of those commenters mentioned that their beloved John F. Kennedy of Camelot fame got into power on a platform of TAX CUTS, because taxes were too high. Or that the Kennedy TAX CUTS ushered in the great big boom of the 1960's.
NO ... because they would also need to know something of history. And an attention span greater than that of a rodent.
Case in point ... the recent use of Billy Klinton to endorse Obama fiscal policy.
For those of you who have not bothered to look into that ... it boils down to Klinton making nice talk about Obama' economic theory as if that is going to produce the results that Klinto himself enjoyed. This in spite of the fact that Klinto economic policy was the exact same as what The GOP are promoting now.
Yes, it's interesting to see how the Obama campaign focuses around..not facts but fiction.
His 2008 campaign was pure fiction. Hope and Change are words that are in themselves absolutely empty. Yet he ran and won on them.
Obama couldn't run on his own factual experience. As a Community Organizer? As the absent editor of the Harvard Law Review who left all the work to others? As an irrelvant lecturer, not a professor, of constitutional law? As a member of Senate who did zilch other than vote 'present'? He couldn't run on this.
Oh, and of course, another emotional theme: Bash Bush.
This campaign, he yet again lives in the virtual realm. He can't run on his actions: the debt, the disastrous stimulus, the hated health care which is a tax, his ignoring Congress and using executive fiat to insert the EPA running environmental regulations that were defeated in Congress? His theft of billions from Medicare? His refusal to deal with tax reform, medical tort reform, entitlement reform?
So, what he's done is to focus on identity blocs: the hispanics, women, those who don't pay taxes, and bribe them for their votes. With taxpayer money. And, set up racial and ethnic divisions, a class war, a gender war.
He can't now, even run on I Got Bin Laden, because the Navy Seals are fighting back.
And he's now been reduced to the Image of Clinton as the Image of the Democratic Presidency. Can you imagine, but Obama can't even run as Himself as the President. The presidential image is: Clinton. Unbelievable.
But don't ever, underestimate the vicious and manipulative pathology of someone as deranged as obama. He'll do anything to win. He has no principles, no ethics, no empathy. Nothing. It's all about Him.
Speaking of Math versus the empty distractions of the Obama campaign; Rush says the reason the Obama team is pushing to see Mitt’s tax returns is so that the Obama base can see what a tax return looks like.
Great poster. Romney should use i.

Good grief, but I could swear those words of wisdom could also be applied to the UN and their Agenda 21. Perhaps Obamas vision see's himself as head of a world government. Of course, reality would indicate he is incapable of running a hot dog stand, but then , so is the UN. When has that ever deterred a dreamer ? Obama has the suitable personality, the drive, the correct skin color and his teleprompter. What more would he need to achieve world leader status ? I'm surprised the National Enquirer (the leading unbiased newspaper) is not all over this one.
Are America's Public School Graduates Ready to Face Economic Reality?
NO, but like Canadian school kids they will have lots of Knowledge of trans gendered socialism, mixed in with unearned self esteem.Oodles about a false Global warming threat. Marx but not Math. Ego but no English. Pop psychology for Social studies. Her story Women studies instead of History. Wishful thinking that trumps earnest searching.
BTW ... is Obama a public school grad?
