It is probable that the "mentality" that having a job and being literate is white, hence "uncool" as well as a sense of entitlement to jobs they are unqualified for as a result, while projecting a resentful victim mentality.....doesn't impress any potential employer regardless of race.......

Why can't our media give credit where credit's due? PM Harper and his CPC are keeping Canada on an even keel while Obamanation and his toadies are turning the U.S. into a Banana Republic, cheered on by both the American and Canadian chattering classes.

I'm constantly impressed how PM Harper and his government just keep on keeping on, quietly, with little fanfare, and certainly no kudos. We are blessed to have him as our PM.

EBD, I keep reading stuff like you posted and it makes me want to puke. My own parents are among those people! Many Blacks in the U.S. don't get hired because you have to have a clean record to qualify.

What I found most fascinating in the employment news was, while non-farm payrolls rose by 84,000 (a dismal enough number), the number of Americans going on disability rose by 85,000! And, if the people at Investor's Business Daily can be believed, since Bambam's been in office, the US has created 3.79 million jobs, and 3.81 million people have gone on disability!!

It saddens me to think that America has fallen so low under this charlatan that it's easier to get yourself classified as 'unable to work' than it it to actually get work. I hope the US can recover, but figures like this make me think it's an impossible task.

JT, you are absolutely right, the entrepreneurial spirit in the Afro-American Community just manifests itself in different ways.

I knew a guy years ago that dealt a bit of weed on weekends. He made more in two days than I made in a month.

Only thing is the pension plan isn't all that great. But then most of 'em don't live long enough to need one anyway.

If I was an employer in the U.S., would I hire a black. Probably not, because I'm sure I would be thinking , that this person was a supporter of the BIG ASSHAT, and I just couldn't put that behind me.

I like them, but with affirmative action policies in place you can bank on their credentials being false, as with any employee hiring risk assessments. Regardless as an employer you take a serious risk of jail time or bankruptcy/l debilitating fines with a disgruntled black employee, who simply decides they are entitled to more than their job benefits. (Ever hear of a black person not happy with their job?)
