I've Tried Real Hard

We understand, Mr. President. Making par can be difficult.

Keep on practising though, maybe get Tiger in to help.

"YODA: No! Try not. Do. Or do not!! There is no try...."

B.Hussien did not try, he failed, he's failed at everything he's done, he did not, *do*

SCOAMF

"B.Hussien did not try, he failed, he's failed at everything he's done, he did not, *do*"

Perhaps not, marc. Depends what the cabal and the UN behind him want. He may be succeding quite spectacularly.
What is this par,Lance??? He should be shooting turkeys all the way!

"Depends what the cabal and the UN behind him want."

EXactly. Except, as President "I Won!" has said, he needs a second term to "finish the job."

I've tried...

*Weasel Zippers had counted 101 golf "tries" as of yesterday?

I'm certain the Tiger can help B Hussain take his HARD efforts and turn them into a SOFT sell

Poor Bammy. He would have saved the country if only those dastardly Republicans weren't so racist!

What a whiny little dog eater.

(I'm betting Michelle Antoinette wouldn't let Tiger within a 100 yard shot of the SCOAMF.)

In our family, that plea would get you "E for Effort".

Hey, Dummy! You're not paid to sit in the Whitehouse to "try". You're there to "do". And now that the specter of a disastrous election looms, he sits there and whines and moans like a typical leftist.

Idiot.

This has been the most spectacularly worst POTUS in our lifetimes, if not possibly the history of the US. He has diminished the collective freedom and liberty of the entire country: taking unbelievable steps to usurp authority from other branches of government and issuing lawless decrees.

The end of the Obama Soft Tyranny cannot come soon enough for the good of america. Come quickly, November.

I disagree with most of the posters here. The more time Obama spends on the links, the less time to micro-manage the economy. Would the Great Depression have lasted as long if Roosevelt were as attentive a golfer as Obama?

"I suspect that most people in Cincinnati would acknowledge that I've tried real hard,"

Balderdash,Barry! You've never had to try hard in your life, you've surfed along on a PC wave called "affirmative action" your entire life.

Now you're in a job where actual results are expected, and you are proving the Peter Principle,in spades.

Ineptocratic president, or cunning beyond words.

Yes, you are trying, Mr. President.

Look, he and his cronies are socialists. Socialists despise the US of A, so he is maybe more successful than even his handlers had hoped. Manchurian Candidate, anyone?

Robert, you are correct - he's trying; VERY trying.

Lance:

You and Kate are not on the same page with respect to the Yoda dictum posted by marc in calgary 1:59p.m. above. Kate normally asks, "Is there anything Obama can't do?" And now you are allowing for his fallibility with a heading like, "I've tried real hard"? It's too John Roberts confusing for me... Which reminds me of the old saying, "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach; those who can't teach go into politics." Hmm... Sounds like Obama.

At any rate, he's apparently complaining about how he's not been able to work with Republicans (which suggests that his own people are telling him that his failure to achieve any level of bi-partisan consensus has and is damaging him with the public). If he was interested in achieving something, he'd put down the megaphone once in a while in dealing with the Republicans in Congress: my read is that for Obama "bi-partisan consensus" is just a prop that he rolls out in front of the media when he wants to bash the other side, like today on this story. I'm also reminded of the kerfuffle (my wife has another word for it that starts with c and ends with a four-letter expletive) that went on last September over Obama's special televised address to a joint session of Congress on the so-called American Jobs Act, where he demanded 17 times, in a hectoring tone, that the Republicans "pass this bill": you'll recall the Obama/Boehner showdown over September 7 because of a conflict with a Republican Presidential debate; he then had to give the speech early on the evening of September 8, so as not to conflict with the New Orleans/Green Bay NFL game. And all of this nonsense came on the heels of the debt ceiling debacle, which was another one of his in-public showdowns with Congress.

His assertions to the contrary notwithstanding, this is not a President who has "tried real hard".

Seriously, for a while I found myself thinking pics of Obama were of Tiger Woods (and vice versa), because the former was more often in golfing clothes than not.

What do you expect him to say..... he got a Nobel just for showing up, affirmative action pre-teen, that's all he is.

Obama is "trying real hard" they way a lot of career civil servants that i have known over the years "try real hard". They, like Obama, have never had to make payroll or actually earn a clients business. from their perspective putting in some effort somewhere in their week which begins no earlier than nine am and ends almost without fail before 4:30 pm (earlier for some during summer hours).

Ps- the report on other potuses golf habits that this SDA entry links to over states how much eisenhower golfed. As i understand it He often played only a very quick nine and he did a lot of late night and early hour work - a habit he picked up while being a general during the war (other leaders who needed the daily intel to arrive from the day of fighting before making decisions the next - Stalin and Churchill being just two examples - had the same night owl work ethic.

I reports on Obama are true, he almost never stays in the office past five.

bruce wayne riley

Bingo. Its been handed to him all his life with perks.

"Tried real hard" - to blame everything on George W. What an admission of failure.

Under such circumstances, a gentleman will have a brief discussion with his pistol. Or, lacking the necessary courage, will retire immediately from public life; preferably to a monastery.

It's the both of them,RD, Michelle been kinda 'perky' lately the last three years.

'bama be hummin' a poorboy, peckerwood tune?

(With aplogies to Waylon)

I've held it all inward, God knows, I've tried,
But it's an awful awakening in a choomie boy's life,
To look in the mirror in total surprise.
At the weight on my shoulders and the fright in my eyes.
