U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is in the spotlight after the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee voted to hold him in contempt because he is refusing to provide documents related to the Fast and the Furious scandal. But there’s another scandal you should know about. For over one year, he has refused to hand over documents about the Muslim Brotherhood network in the U.S.

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), vice chairman of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security, confronted Holder about the matter on Thursday, June 21. Rep. Gohmert wants Congress to have access to documents from the trial of the Holy Land Foundation, the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history. Five Foundation officials were found guilty of funding Hamas and evidence introduced by the federal government shows it was set up by the Muslim Brotherhood’s secret “Palestine Committee” in the U.S.

The documents requested by Rep. Gohmert for the past year were provided to the Holy Land Foundation’s defense team, yet are being denied to Congress. “They are terrorists, and we wanted the documents you gave to the terrorists. We are a year later, and we still don’t have them,” complained Rep. Gohmert.

Green Energy Leaves 800.000 Germans In The Dark

As Germany subsidies wealthy homeowners and businesses owners to install solar panels on their homes and commercial buildings, low income families living in rented apartments are getting stuck footing skyrocketing electric bills. Many can no longer afford to pay for electricity, and so the utilities are cutting off their power. High energy prices are causing everything else to get more expensive as well - all this while the euro is threatened to collapse under the weight of massive debt due to financial ineptitude.

So it’s little wonder that German politicians are beginning to panic and coming up with really nutty solutions. Instead of scaling back the cause of the energy mess (government meddling in the energy sector) they are threatening to do the opposite: i.e. meddle even more – much more.

So in summary, here’s Germany’s latest energy plan: 1) Force power companies to buy exorbitantly-priced, inefficient and intermittent-supply green energy on one side, and then force them to give it away, or sell it at a low price, on the sales side!

I saw Junior Wells at the Yale in Vancouver in December, 1990...still one of the best shows I've ever attended, maybe THE best.

The Queen and former IRA commander Martin McGuinness have shaken hands for the first time.

The meeting between the monarch and Northern Ireland's deputy first minister took place at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast on Wednesday.

They shook hands at a private meeting and later shook hands in public.

The private meeting, in a room at the theatre, involved a group of seven people, including Irish President Michael D Higgins and Northern Ireland's First Minister Peter Robinson.

It is understood Mr McGuinness welcomed both the Queen and the Irish president in Irish.

The BBC decided to twist the knife with a video of the humiliation.

North Huron Wind Fee Proposed

North Huron could be considering charging wind turbine developers a permit fee.

Councillor Bernie Bailey proposed the idea to council last night, pointing to North Perth as an example where the fee was introduced.In that municipality, developers are charged 20 thousand dollars.

Bailey says, "I think 25 thousand a turbine would not be out of place."

North Huron staff have been directed to look into the idea and report back to council

I wish them well. Yes it's a shell game using our tax dollars - but it will hurt McGuinty's cronies where it hurts the most: in the pocket book.

If there isn't already a legal mechanism to prevent the municipality from doing this, you can bet that the Liberals will be scrambling to protect their sycophants and support base. But it they have to do that, it will be in glare of public scrutiny.

I received a letter today from LeadNow,the group behind the 31,000 'robocall' complaints. They want a donation,of course,and sent a letter that stated " the head of Elections Canada resigned, and Prime Minister Harper replaced him with someone who has no experience conducting a major investigation? "

That's an outright lie. It wasn't the head of Elections Canada,and the guy who resigned was replaced by someone chosen by the current head of Elections Canada.The Conservatives were not involved.

I also received a letter from the NDP today asking for money that included this " They think they can bully New Democrats by spending money on attack ads – because we aren't backed by big oil and gas companies like they are."

The NDP don't need to lie to raise money,but they just can't help themselves.
