The chart showing the price of residential electricity in CA looks almost the same as the data for British Columbia! Go figure!

Meanwhile, in China, they`re burning coal to build what the Yanks (and we) used to build here, but can`t build anymore because power is too high.

How long does it take for the emissions to travel from China to California and BC?? My guess is about 100 hours.

If some enterprising Californian could turn BS into Kw the state would be self sufficient.

California legislatures, dumber than a bag of hammers.

TJ is quite right that BC is mirroring what's happening in California. Although one brake on BC electricity prices is the fallout that will happen when prices of cannabis go through the roof as the cost of producing BC's largest cash crop skyrockets in response to the cost of "renewable" electricity. Victoria moonbats are not swayed by logic but hordes of Vancouver moonbats being unable to afford "essentials" such as cannabis likely will get through to Victoria politicians.

Ontario's cost of a Kwh of power under McGuinty's rule is very similar California's cost curve in the chart. We can't mock "stupid Americans" when our own idiots are clearly holding their own in the stupidity department.

It's depressing to have gone to the trouble of getting dual citizenship and be STILL out of sane countries in which to live.

The obvious answer is to lease California to China
for 100 years for two trillion dollars up front.
Everybody wins.
.

If residents of Ontario wish to chart the vast increases in their utilities (Hydro and water), they will find that the UN Agenda 21 sustainability taxers have been busy at all levels of government raising the costs of fully renewable consumer resources - with green taxing , sustainability taxing and subsidy for non cost-effective green tech all dumped onto the consumers utility bill. I'd be willing to bet Ontario has an electric and water cost chart similar to California’s – and for all the same reasons.

One of the reasons larger industries are avoiding Ontario is the expensive cost of electric energy – which is sad because before McGuinty Ontario had the cheapest, most abundant hydro power anywhere. See what happens when a closet commie gets their hands on public resources. They use it to fund utopian experiments and enrich their patrons.

California dreaming alright. Dreaming of leaving a ship run by fools.
