Instead, most of the comments on this thread have denigrated, shamefully, to personal ad hominem bullying and mocking of her appearance which has nothing to do with the argument. How is mocking someone's appearance justified? Are only the beautiful allowed to present stupid arguments?

The argument is, in itself, fallacious. It is claiming a number of things - and are these claims valid?

First, that the GOP, which rejects the state paying for abortions, thereby has a 'war on women' and is trying to 'bully, subjugate and silence women'.

Is this argument against the GOP valid - that the state should pay for abortions on demand or is it a political tactic of the Democrats to gain women's votes?

Note that this tactic has moved the argument from a debate on the validity of abortion on demand to one that accepts it as an absolute 'human right' and moves on only to demand that it be funded by the state, ie, by other taxpayers. Shouldn't both these assumptions be debated rather than accepted?

Second, there is the assumption that
IF you are a woman, THEN, you are amoral. [This is actually an Islamic argument.]
The left is claiming that the GOP view women as amoral because of this insistence on demand abortions. Is this a valid claim, or is it the insistence that the state pay for these abortions that is the issue?

Shouldn't we debate these issues? Isn't the Democratic assertion that any rejection of the claim that the state must pay - is also a rejection of women's 'rights' - isn't this a stupid argument? And can only beautiful people present stupid arguments?
