All 80,000 registered charities should pay taxes. Some, many even, work directly against the people who pay the freight in this country or adamantly oppose the values of most Canadians, we should not have to underwrite them. Everyone's taxes would be lower in that case too.
Money launderers can go to prison.

Glenn Beck was way out front in sniffing out these rats. I'm not sure if Fox caved in to them as Glenn already had plans to go his own way. The pressure from Tides to get rid of him was definately there.

You can run, you can hide, or you can fight back. So far the oil companies involved in the oil sands have refused to fight back. How did the Rockerfellas make their money? It seems to me they are using the same tactics now, that made them rich then. Attack your opposition any way you can.
The oil sands are one of the largest oil spills on the planet and it is we Canadians that are cleaning it up. It is the opponents to this clean up that are against the enviroment, against increasing standards of living, against everything that makes us human.(The clean up is sustainable because the oil pays for the massive reclaimation costs)
Without wealth there is poverty. Without profit, you are simply treading water, working just to stay alive.
I believe the current mayor of Vancouver worked for 'Tides' or an affiliate. There were suggestions that Tides help fund his election campaign.
Next question would be how much Tide money has gone to the provincial BC NDP? Their enviro positions have been dead against most developemt and universally against any oil pipelines to the west coast.
Any way of finding out what grants, scholarships, bursaries, research funding the Tides Foundation has been involved in since their spawn?
Who are the professors and teachers in the public and post secondary institutions which are on the "payroll"? These type of "organizations" are in the education business, as they follow the socialist/Marxist mantra, the education of the young and impressionable is how they mold and shape the next generation into believing "the message", which has the sole purpose of enriching and sustaining that organization in the future.
