The best way to deal with these idiotic moonbat protests is to simply have the train accelerate as it comes to their blockade. I'm assuming that moonbats are sufficiently small so as to cause minimal damage to a train in this situation although I've heard from my railroad worker patients that a moose is capable of derailing a locomotive in some circumstances.

Perhaps a snowplow like arrangement on the lead locomotive would result in least possible damage to the train and ensure that the population of those stupid enough to stand on train tracks when a train is approaching will steadily diminish.
