Also, "twoosh master."

The story is really not surprising by itself. The interesting part is that the lamestream are now picking this up.

Thankfully, the Hungarian Methodists who own the MSM, are diligently at work uncovering the "twoosh master's" past.

I don't look down on Obama for having done stupid things as a youth. I look down on him for not learning from them.

....and if you smoke dope, maybe nothing will happen to you too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fy_knXF_G6c

Also, "twoosh master."

Chuztpa, saw the clip this morning, it reveals all you need to know about the Choom king. Gumchompin'
man child. gag... Are you proud of me? I'm the twoosh master....... sheesh

Even the beloved Bill Clinton had to pretend he didn't inhale. Bush was pilloried for weeks over a twenty year old impaired driving ticket.

Barry has a permanent "no history" blessing from the MSM, nothing that happened before this morning exists in the Barryverse. Awesome.

Who's best interests was that decision made in? That's not rhetorical btw, I'd really like an answer to that question. Who's gettin' paid here?

What worries me most, is that obama is still "evolving".

This video rant came out in Reason a few days ago and I think it gets to the heart of the problem for libertarians. The Drug War is ruining lives of some people - particularly the poor and blacks- while for the privileged class it is accepted as normal and a big joke. To paraphrase: If Obama had been busted under his own laws then he would never have been POTUS and his life would have been ruined.

I tried to link to the video directly but it got caught in the filter.

bruce wayne riley, yeah, there's a reason why Valerie Jarrett (who knows where all the bodies are) walks twenty steps ahead of the gum-chompin' twooshin' man child. Oh, but Barack is "elegant," as the MSM keeps telling us.

LC Bennett:

Penn has never had a problem telling it as he sees it. He's definitely right about Obama on this one. Never would have been president.

I wish they still made Bullshit!

Phantom, far be it from me to be a conspiracy nut, but if you Google "Committee of 300" you will see Warren Buffet in the list of members. Obama's best buddy. I have a feeling that Obama is being paid off by multiple globalist sources, not just George Soros. I read that Barack's team sent many copies of "Dreams From My Father" to CHINA. Communists think he's wonderful.

Steven Burton, Penn's slapdown of Trump after he was fired on "The Apprentice" was classic. He called The Donald "a loose cannon." Priceless:)

Penn Jillette and Adam Carolla are brilliant.

Dystopian Optimist, are you sure those said Hungarian Methodists didn't convert just recently to the Church of Euthanasia?

This article should move Obama UP in the esteem of his acolytes, from "cool, trendy, and hip", to "super-cool,T &H".

Now that American youth, especially the "Occupy" movement, know that Obama's one of THEM, I expect every one of them will get out a vote, two or three times.

November 2012: Obama wins the Presidency, unless gas prices hit $6 a gallon.

I hope no one who posts or prints this story has any illusions about it harming Obama's rep.

This isn't particularly interesting or surprising. What is interesting, is how Obama has decided to crack down on medicinal marijuana and refuses to consider any type of decriminalization.

Does he so regret his smoking days that he's determined for no one else to make the same mistakes? Or is there something else he knows that we don't. I far more respect his opinion on the issue than someone who's never even experienced the drug, but I would be interested to know his thought process. Even though I know I never will.

I myself took up regular (not heavy)smoking during college and as a result my GPA increased by 0.5. Once I realized it became a habit, I quit immediately. I have no disdain for anyone because of past cannabis consumption... as long as he isn't doing it now.

Watch out America! If you say choom you will go kaboom if Barrys chick hears of it!

My guess to Andrew's question is that the Drug War has become a big industry in the US. Prohibition has been beneficial to both government and drug dealers - the new version of Baptists and Bootleggers. Last week's SDA post about the US couple who have had their motel confiscated under forfeiture laws is just one example of prohibition revenue harvesting.

"The bootleggers and the preachers both have an incentive to limit the legal consumption and distribution of alcohol, the former with the economic reason and the latter with the ethical justification that people will support, but, by their very nature, the two groups would not get along. The politician effectively acts as the go-between, taking the bootlegger's campaign contributions and citing the preacher's morals in speeches."

Andrew at May 26, 2012 5:41 PM

What about the 5% margin of error factor in your results? Obama's excessive smoking has resulted in an overly compulsion to lie and golf and do both at the same time if needed!

It's interesting that on one of the few subjects where Obama is seemingly honest he is an amoral hypocrite (as prohibitionist/prison-keeper in chief) as opposed to Clinton who lied about his drug use thus maintaining a microscopic veneer of faux consistency. The former will do or say anything for a vote while the later knows that everyone knows he is a liar and the institutional left thinks he's cute as a result.

LC Bennett
This isn't a problem for libertarians but it should be for all prohibitionists who have ever imbibed.

It's probably nothing,there's likely thousands of people that go by the name b.obomber and call it "choom",but I found this in the urban dictionary;

1. choom

To smoke weed.
Sunday morning choomin' rules

choom gang weed chronic sesh
by b. obomber Mar 28, 2009
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=choom

" Sometimes called "Barry O'bomber" for his jump shot, that player is better known today as presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama."

In regards to my above two posts,it probably is nothing. Another definition, "choom gang";

1. choom gang

A gang centered around smoking pakalolo. Popularized by Barack Obama's high school senior yearbook photo.
We go play hoop with the choom gang.

But what it does show is that this info was out there months before the election of the ONE,and the media did not look for it or they ignored it.

You obviously have never experienced cannabis if you think it induces dishonesty; if anything, it does the exact opposite. Please stop expressing an opinion regarding topics on which you are completely ignorant. This is why there is such a stigma in the first place.

Pot may not make you lie,but golf does, almost as much as fishing.

Anyways,I posted a link to the Urban Dictionary that had a reference to "choom" that was posted by b.obomber. I wonder if that name/entry can be traced to a particular ip address located in the Beltway. There is only one entry by that name.

Just saying.....

Andrew at 7:27 PM

typical ignorant post, you don't know any more than the one you are critizing, weed effects different people differently, trust me on that as I speak from first hand knowledge

About the only thing I have ever noticed cannabis induces is mental instability after heavy use over extended time. Well that and a 'marijuana accent'. I can often pick out a heavy user by the way he talks.

Andrew said: "You obviously have never experienced cannabis if you think it induces dishonesty; if anything, it does the exact opposite."

Andrew, who do you think you're talking to here? Pretty near everybody older than 30 and younger than 65 in this country smoked up in the 1960's and 1970's. You couldn't go to a concert in the 1970's without getting some on you, joints traveled up and down the aisles like beach balls at a football game. Some smoked -seriously-, others like myself only smoked OP (other people's).

If there's one thing I've learned since the 1970's its this: Dope doesn't make you crazy, usually (!) doesn't make you violent, but it can make you -stupid- if you smoke enough of it.

Gee, guess I can't comment on this because, though having, I suspect, an addictive personality, (booze, tobacco) I never cared much for the kind of people who smoked that stuff. They always seemed a little self-possessed, or lacking in something. You know, shallow, paranoid of anyone who didn't want to smoke marijuana.

Not only did the MSM miss it but apparently so did the Hill Clinton oppo research team.

That they, Breitbart, continue to dribble this stuff out is amazing. They have to be saving the best for last though. Mind you everything is public, hidden in plain site, other news orgs could beat them to it if they wanted to.

Ok, ok. It was wrong for me to make such a generalization. But it is absolutely absurd to assert that Obama, a liberal, lawyer, and a politician, is a liar because he smoked some joints in high school. I would even go as far as to say such thoughts are, if not delusional, at least grossly misinformed. If this was true, we'd have a lot more to worry about than gay marriage and unemployment.

I think there are so many legitimate and serious criticisms of Obama. This article is nothing but a smear in front of those who, in my opinion, have a fundamental misunderstanding of the nature of drugs.

That's all I have to say on the matter. If you disagree, perhaps my brain is fried after all.

Makes me think of: Traveling in a fried out combie,
on a hippie trail head full of zombie.

You know, I don't really think BO's dope-smoking past is that much of an issue. Where I really get angry is when I recall how the MSM pilloried the great Michael Phelps after his historic 8 gold medal performance in the 2008 Olympics to the point where he lost some of his endorsements....and that was just for a photo of him sucking on a bong at a party.

Choomeister in Chief?

knives are out for Bathhouse Barry. why is this released now??? Democrats are throwing the Kenyan under the bus. Romney must have been picked as election winner, can be the only reason for this news item. (?)

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio says that Donald Trump has sent him a note congratulating him on his investigation of President Obama's birth certificate.

Sean, agreed, as I suspect that most of us did some things in our youth that we are not proud of today.

larben @ 8:29, same here. In fact, while I was in high school in the late 1950s, I hung around with the duck tail tough crowd and frowned upon anyone who went in for this stuff, which was a trend that was just starting at the time and seemed to be confined to the pin strippers.

Oh sure, Obama somehow invented hot boxing. Gosh, is there NOTHING he can't do??

LC Bennett

Man have you got5 that right. BC probably makes more from Pot than Alberta from oil.

Being stoned would explain a lot.

God, I never thought I'd miss Bill Clinton. Obama makes him look capable and genteel.

Sean, agreed, as I suspect that most of us did some things in our youth that we are not proud of today.

But you're still swilling in the public trough, kulak, and like a small dead right wing hypocrite in good standing, nothing to be ashamed of there, right, comrade?

Guess he can Afford the good stuff now - his grasp on reality seems weak and drug induced.

Watch a pothead POTUS "wing it". The discourse is stumbling as if it takes a second for the gear to engage.

I see this every time he leaves teleprompterland.

Maybe it's just the "shrooms".

El Choom & Moochelle

El Choom & Moochelle

The biggest problem with pot is, as a friend of mine once put it, "When you smoke a joint, even if you're doing nothing, it makes you feel like you're doing something". I knew a guy who was bright and involved in high school (chess team and varsity sport - that's a rare double!) but, when he got into pot in a heavy way, lost all his drive. Didn't go to college, got menial jobs, but so long as he had a tiny apartment, a car, and a full bong every night, he thought life was grand.

But you could say the same thing about booze. And, as many pointed out above, there's a quite cozy relationship between drug dealers and the war on drugs establishment. The ongoing war gives the cops lots of reasons to ask for more money and power - the abuse of 'no-knock' raids in the US would make any sane person cry - which every politician caves in on. The dealers like it because it gives them an excuse for huge markups on plants you could grow for free. And since there's so much money involved, corruption is inevitable. The 'cop on the take' is now considered a cliche, because there have been thousands of real life examples.

This in turn spawns distrust of the police and other institutions by the people, and creates an "us vs. them" mentality in both the people and the police. The recently officially condemned actions of police at the Toronto G20 are just one example of the contempt some police feel for the citizens they are supposed to protect. And yet, as a citizen, how can you feel anything but contempt for rank hypocrites like Bambam, who condone the use of police power to utterly destroy peoples' lives for something they did with almost impunity?

And I don't use the word 'destroy' here lightly. It's not the older cases of people getting ten year sentences for possessing a joint (that was bad enough), but the utter contingency of what happens in Canada today if you're caught with less than an ounce. Depending on the cop, how you react, the time of night, and many other things, you can either have the stuff confiscated and otherwise escape punishment, get a minor fine, or be prosecuted for a criminal charge. If you're found guilty, good luck finding any type of job beyond the most menial for the next 5-10 years, until you've been able to apply for, and of course, pay for, a pardon. So, either nothing happens, or you spend ten years with your life on hold, all depending on the arresting cop's mood. Again, just another reason many people hold the police in low regard.

Legalize it. Control it. Tax it. And provide help to people who get in too deep and want to kick it (they've probably paid their rehab costs and then some through the taxes already).

Then we can at least be spared the "Only dopes use [suuuuuuuucccccckkkkk..] dope" rhetoric from the likes of Barry.

Yeah experience takes many forms....

I recall, back in the day, during an emotional momment when the other guys were in the wire, watching in horror, one of these "cool" fellas drop a mortar bomb down the tube...the wrong way....

"Pot may not make you lie,but golf does, almost as much as fishing."

Wallyj, as a former golfer who never shot over par,and a fisherman who never landed a trout under ten pounds,I appreciate your comment,as I DID smoke pot one time in the 60's,but like Bill Clinton and Kim Campbell, never inhaled, but it DID cause me to lie!

Powerful stuff! ;-)

Bogart Hussein Obama.

Don't Barack that joint.
